1. To empower and discover students’ potential talent in
sports.
2. Promote physical activity, skills development and builds
teamwork among students.
3. To select players that will compete to lower meet up to
palarong bansa.
4. To build a sporty mind that leads to sportsmanship.
EXECUTIVE The vibrant campus of ELJ Memorial High School recently
SUMMARY played host to an exhilarating event that brought together
students, teachers, and staff in a celebration of athleticism,
sportsmanship, and teamwork—the much-anticipated School
Intramurals.
With the theme "Igniting ELJian’s Teamwork and Camaraderie
Through Sport and Recreation," the event aimed not only to
showcase the athletic prowess of the students but also to
foster a sense of unity and camaraderie among the ELJian
community.
In line with the theme, team-building exercises were
strategically integrated into the intramurals.
These activities aimed to strengthen the bonds among team
members, fostering a sense of unity that transcends the
playing field. Trust falls, problem-solving challenges, and
collaborative games brought out the best in teamwork and
highlighted the power of collective effort.

Mr. and Ms. Intramurals
The population of the school will be divided into eight (8)
groups to be led by the higher grade (grades 11–12) and
designated teachers in every group.
The MAPEH Department, in collaboration with SSLG, will
compromise the core team in facilitating and operating the
intramurals, along with the participation and cooperation of all
teachers.
The Intramurals commenced with a spectacular opening
ceremony on the first day last October 21 at exactly 1:00 pm
that set the tone for the entire event. The school grounds
buzzed with excitement as students with their muse and
escorts paraded in their respective team colors, showcasing
their spirit and enthusiasm. On that same day starts the
elimination round for all the sports event. And on the second
day of intramurals on October 22, 2023 is the championship of
all the sports event and awarding ceremony.
The School Intramurals, themed "Igniting ELJian’s Teamwork
and Camaraderie Through Sport and Recreation," was an
overwhelming success. Beyond the medals and accolades, the
event left an indelible mark on the ELJian community,
emphasizing the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and
camaraderie. As the school year progresses, the echoes of
cheers, the memories of shared victories and challenges, and
the strengthened bonds among students will serve as a lasting
reminder of the power of unity within the ELJian family.
