To help you with identifying and analysing a problem you should use the following steps:

Identify an appropriate theory

Write a problem statement.

Problem identification and what is the Overall impact on the organisation

Where is there issues in the case? (Case Evidences that fit in with the theory part)

What is the direct impact? Why is it bad? Which will affect the company performance.

Creating a PROBLEM STATEMENT

• ONE clear sentence telling the reader what the problem is and the theory being used to analyse it
• Can start off in many ways, for example:
o One problem is…..
o This report will focus on/explore/address the major problem ………
o The major problem this report will address/analyse/examine is…..
• This can be regarded as your first topic sentence for the first paragraph of this Problem Section

Attempt your problem statement for the problem highlighted above:

The major problem that this report will examine is how Scar as the manager does not have the knowledge of
how to appropriately use different managerial skills required by a manager to run the mean store successfully
which has resulted in making their customers and workers unhappy leading to the meat store experiencing
poor financial results.

Customers were not given good service as they were treated rudely and the meat customers may never return to buy from the
