TIL (TEST IN LAIB)

INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS A.Y.


2025/26
This document does not replace in any way the rules and
procedures illustrated in the Calls for applications for admissions to
PoliTo Bachelor’s degree programmes for a.y. 2025/26. The Calls
constitute the sole official documents and will be referred to for
any legal matters.
Admission Test format
Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes

Questions: 42, divided into 4 sections, each section covers a different subject.

Organization of the sections:


• The order of the proposed sections cannot be changed.
• You cannot move to the next section until the ongoing section time expires.
• You cannot go back to the previous sections.
• Navigation is allowed exclusively within the ongoing section.
Admission Test format
Answers:
5 possible answers for each question (A, B, C, D, E), only one of which is correct
Scores:
+1: for each correct answer
0: for each unanswered question
-0.25: for each incorrect answer
To correct an answer: click on the new answer you want to select
To delete an answer: double click on the answer you want to delete
Suggestions:
Exploit all the time given to you for each section.
Do not take too much time to answer difficult questions.
Do not forget: there is a penalty (-0.25) for each incorrect answer, no penalty for
unanswered questions.
Obligations for applicants
• Be absolutely silent, except for asking questions to the Supervision Committee.
• Exclusively make use of the blank sheets of paper and the pen/pencil provided by
Supervision Committee. You are not allowed to keep your draft sheets after the test.
Forbidden materials
You are forbideden to take into the classroom or use:
• sheets of paper, notebooks, notes, calculators or other personal tools.
• any tool that could potentially make the test easier.
• electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, etc.) must remain switched off and
placed on the desk at all times during the test. Pursuant to D.P.R. n. 487/1994 (art.13): if
your mobile phone emits any kind of sound during the test (alarms, wake up alarms,
vibrations or other), you will be invited to leave the classroom and excluded from the
selection process with no exceptions.
Obligations for applicants
Forbidden conduct
Communicating with other applicants: forbidden and useless, since each applicant has a
different test.

Test invalidation
Your test will be declared invalid if you:
• Breach the conduct rules referred to in the Calls for applications;
• Behave in a way that disturbs the normal implementation of the test.
Before starting the TEST
Place your identification document next to the PC for inspection.

Test score
At the end of the test you will see your test score on the screen. Your test score will remain visible
on your personal page of the Apply@polito platform.

WARNING: NO ONE CAN LEAVE THE CLASSROOM UNTIL ALL APPLICANTS FINISH AND ALL
NECESSARY PROCEDURES ARE COMPLETE.
