The Airbus A310 is a medium- to long-range Glue over flap surface
twin-engined widebody jet airliner. Launched Glue under flap surface
in July 1978, it was the second aircraft to enter
production by Airbus Industrie, the consortium Mountain fold
of European aerospace companies which is now Valley fold
owned by EADS. The A310 is a shortened Cut through the line
derivative of the A300, the first twin-engined Cut out area
widebody airliner.
