To me, seeking knowledge has always been a passionate desire.
My schooling put me on
the firm grounds of academics and social values and I have always felt that I am more
inclined towards solving problems and looking for solutions. Because of this inclination I
preferred to adopt science subject in my matriculation and Intermediate. After completing
my Intermediate in Pre-engineering with Mathematics, physics and chemistry as majors, I
secured admission in “Lahore School of Economics” which is considered to be one of the
most renowned and leading business school of Pakistan.
I have successfully completed my Bachelors in Business Administration Hons* program
(majors in Finance) and with an immense excellent infrastructure and experienced faculty
members I have become more focused and confident to take up challenges in real life.
The diligently prepared curriculum at Lahore School of Economics has enabled me to
widen my horizons of knowledge in subjects like financial Accounting I and II, Financial
Management I & II, Corporate Finance, Public Finance, Managerial Accounting, History
and Balance sheet analysis, Economics and Financial analysis of projects, Investments, &
Financial Institutions and services.
Financial sector is considered to be the backbone of every economy and it includes all
formal and informal institutions offering financial services to consumers, businesses and
other institutions which have a major role to play for the growth of the economy. The
development of financial sector in an economy has a direct impact on capital
accumulation (including human as well as physical capital), rate of technological
progress, facilitating foreign inflows for the economy, capital markets, risk management
and a lot more.
Studying finance for four years in my graduation has leaded me to realize that I have a
very strong inclination towards finance subjects and having a basic knowledge of
financial sector in an economy I want to excel in the field of finance. And in order to
achieve my goal in life, my search for the best match of objectives, passions and dreams
has ended at your university with the best of fundamental research in all avenues of
financial management.
The advanced level degree offered by, Berlin School of Economics and law, Masters in
International Finance is perfectly suitable for me to fulfill my dreams and to achieve my
aim of working as a successful financial manager in an international company. The areas
of specialization in this master’s program are comprehensive and will help me to have a
broader look at the subjects which I have studied in my graduation. Courses like
corporate and capital market finance will enable me to expand and deepen my theoretical
and practical skills in both traditional and innovative financial management methods. I
am very sure that this program would help me polish my abilities and further enhance my
analytical skills to challenge my capabilities.
I have also worked for two months in the Finance department of Wateen
Telecommunication and got exposure of how the finances are managed and reported. It
was a really good experience of working there and enhancing my financial knowledge. I
have also worked in a bank for a month and have seen its day to day operations and its
role in the money circulation in the economy. And after completing my degree from your
university I am looking forward to work in an international financial institution where I
will be able to get maximum exposure of financial and capital markets.
I am well aware of the fact that what exactly highly rated Universities of GERMANY
look for in a prospective student and it is my belief that having a strong academic
background, maintaining a CGPA of 3.4 in my bachelors and with the will to perform
and deliver, I will get a chance to be a part of Berlin School of Economics and law and
will do my Maters in International finance to enhance my financial skills.
After 10 years I see myself working as a senior financial executive in a multinational
which has offices all over the world. An organization where I would have opportunities
to think creatively and to implement whatever I have studied and leaned throughout my
Masters and Graduation Degree in Finance. I will be setting new trends that will be
followed later on by the people. I will come up with a new mind set of managing finances
of multinationals as well as the individuals from which they will be able to contribute and
play their part in the economy
I assure you that I will make the most of myself and will be unsparing in my efforts in
academics and shall remain as a promising and rewarding asset to your premiere institute.
