RENEWED CAMARADERIE AND HARMONIOUS GATHERING OF EDUCATORS
(RECHARGED)
November 26-29, 2024
I. Introduction
Ugong Pasig National High School is committed to its goal to be a school for
excellence, thus, as School Year 2024-2025 starts, it conducted the annual In-service
training program for teachers with a theme of RECHARGED: Renewed Camaraderie and
Harmonious Gathering of Educators held on November 27-29 at the UPNHS Function
Hall and at the Kuhala Bay Resort in Cardona Rizal.
II. Activities Undertaken

In accordance with DepEd Order 32, s. 2017, otherwise known as the “Gender-
Responsive Basic Education Policy”, UPNHS aims to undertake gender-
mainstreaming in teaching to address ender and sexuality-related issues in basic
education, to promote the protection of children from all forms of gender-related
violence, abuse, exploitation, discrimination, and bullying, and to promote gender
equality and non-discrimination in the workplace.
Through the help of Mr. Ernesto D. Ylasco, Senior Education Program
Specialist, Human Resources Development of the Schools Governance and
Operations Division of SDO Pasig, UPNHS personnel was guided in the formulation of

a school-based gender-responsive projects anchored in the school’s Annul
Implementation Plan.
This first day of strategic planning activity was done in the school’s function
hall.
C. November 28, 2024 –
On this day, participants left Pasig City and arrived in Laiya, Batangas.
Upon arrival and through the guidance of Mr. Paul Ryan R. Quiogue, Assistant
School Principal II, the formulated school-based gender-responsive project plans
were consolidated, presented and critiqued for improvements and enhancements, to
be considered for adoption as the Gender-Responsive School Policy.
D. November 29, 2024 – Financial literacy seminar spearheaded by Ugong
Credit Cooperative Inc.
The Ugong Credit cooperative Inc. conducted a seminar to introduce their
booming company to UPNHS teachers. The said company was already established
institution for years by providing financial services such as . The
seminar aims to help teacher be financial literate and be future-ready when trying
times come into their life like sickness, health emergency, sudden death of the
family members and etc. That’s why the company discussed the different services
they usually offer to their clients and these are . Some teachers was
even got a chance to ask what are the offers suitable for their needs and the staff
willingly answers their questions and help them to choose what is the best financial
management plan for them. When the seminar has come to an end, most of the
teachers are interested to avail the offers, where they even requested to get an
application form to apply and be part of their growing institution.
E. November 29, 2024-Awarding Ceremony
The awarding ceremony was led by Mr. Louis Rafael Tordecillas and Mrs.
Gailey Tolentino by giving the certificates to teachers who participated in the 3-day
In-Service Training program for this school year 2024-2025.
