Dear ma’am/ sir,
Greetings of peace and prosperity!
I am writing this letter to express my sincerest interest to apply for Teacher 1 position in any school with vacancy within Calbayog City this school year 2024-2025. I am Nersy Princess P. Bongoyan, 25 years old, and a bonafide resident of Brgy. Begaho, Oquendo District, Calbayog City. I have finished my Baccalaureate Degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Northwest Samar State University last June 14, 2022. I took the Licensure Examination for Teachers in March 19, 2023 and passed on the same year. With my outmost performance during my internship in college and my deep passion for teaching the students, I am confident that my abilities to give instruction and supervision, combined with my excellent communication skills and professional ethic would greatly benefit and would be valuable to your school community.
During my college days, I undergone practice teaching program which trained and developed my potential in handling and teaching various types of students. Experience has also taught me how to build strong relationships with any departments and organization to work within a team as well as cross-team. As soon as I graduated, I worked as an Assistant Instructor in a private learning center, Kumon Gomez (Magsaysay) Calbayog Center, where we cater the skills and abilities of the students with different ages and personalities. After rendering my service for two good years in private institutions, I am now seeking for a perfect teaching environment where I can give my best as a public servant.
My two year teaching experience in the private learning center have sharpened my potential as an educator and I am ready to take all the learnings I’ve got to a much more challenging working and teaching environment. I know that your institution is a perfect place where I can get what I am seeking for. Believing that education is the key to success of the students, I hope to be a part of your established school which has been always known as the producer of young students known for their excellence in various fields. My goal to provide an interesting learning environment that encourages students to be the best while honing my skills further as a teacher. Aside from teaching, I have other skills which I can share to my students and extra knowledge in other fields which I can integrate with the subject that I teach. I know that this is my edge from other applicants who also intend to secure a position in your institution.
Knowing how vital continuous professional development is, I also participated in
different teacher training programs in the past two years. Doing so has helped me improve my interpersonal skills and let me get involved in different matters concerning the development of the community where I belong. Working in a group has always been an exciting thing to me as I believe that strong collaboration can bring out the best in the people within a society. Aside from English, I hope to soon be teaching the value of collaboration and social interaction to your students. I hope that you will consider this application.
I believe that your school would give me the opportunity to learn more things in my chosen profession and that would hone my teaching skills further.
