BAWANG MERAH BAWANG PUTIH
Once upon a time In East Java, there lived a beautiful girl name bawang putih.
Her father had passed away, and she lived with her stepmother and her stepsister.
Before her father passed away, her stepmother and her stepsister were very kind to
her. But two days after her father passed away, they treat her badly.
StepMother : “Bawang Putih from this moment, you have to clean the
house, guard the house, wash the cloths, and make delicious food HAHAHA.”
Bawang Putih : “But, mother...”
StepMother : “No but! You have to obey my rule!. What do you think? I
loved you? Oh, no, no, no. I hate you. Why i must be kind to my step
daughter, huh?!” Bawang Merah: “Did you? How fool you are.” said her step
sister.
Her step sister was bawang merah, and she was a very lazy girl. She always get dress
everytime, but bawang putih was more beautiful than her.
One morning, bawang putih was washin some clothes in a river. But Then
accidentally, her stepsister's dress was wash away by the river. She was very worried,
and she walked around the river side to find the dress.
Bawang Putih : “Oh no!”
But unfortunately, she couldn't find the dress, and then she went home.
At home, her stepsister ask her
Bawang Merah: ‘Do you see my dress? Have you wash it?!”
Bawang Putih : “emmm..”
Bawang Merah: “Do you hear me? Where is it?!
Bawang Putih : “Your...Your dress we’re wash away.”
Bawang Merah: “What?! You’ve lost the dress? It's expensive, you know.
Mother! Mother! Bawang putih was wash my dress and she lost it.
StepMother : “What? You lost the dress? It's so expensive, you know. Now
you have to find dress or you won’t have dinner!”
Bawang Putih was so sad, so she start walk along the river to find the dress.
Bawang Putih : “Oh, dress, where are you?”
But then, she met an old woman. The old woman said she keep the dress and will gift
them back to bawang putih if bawang putih help her to do all the housework for her.
After that, bawang putih help the old woman do all the housework. After finish, the
old woman return the dress.
Old Women : “Thank you very much for help me out, bawang putih. As a
reward, let me effort my pumpkin. There’s a small one and a big one. Wich one do
you want?”
Bawang Putih : “Um, I think this small pumpkin is enough for me. Thank you
for your kindness, old woman.”
Old Women : “Anytime, sweetheart.”
And then, bawang putih went home. When she arrive, her stepmother and her
stepsister was very angry. They've been waiting for all day long. Then bawang putih
told them the dress, the old woman and the pumpkin. Her stepmother was very angry,
so she grab the pumpkin and smashed it to the floor. But there’s a surprise, from the
pumpkin the found you lewelrt’s.
StepMother : ‘’Bawang merah, hurry up! Go to the river and throw my
clothes. After that, you must find old woman. But remember, you must take
the big pumpkin so we can be rich!’’
Bawang merah immediately go to the river and throw her clothes and pretend to
search them. Not long after that, she meet the old woman.
Old Women : ‘’What are you doing right here, young lady?’’
Bawang Merah: ‘’Um, I'm looking for my dress.’’
Old Women : ‘’I'm keeping your dress, but if you want it, you must to do
housework for me.’’
Bawang Merah: ‘’What?! you are a thief, old woman. Give it back my
dress!.’’ Old Women : ‘’I'm sorry, young lady. I didn't mean to stole your
dress. I'm just keeping it. I'm just an old woman.’’
Bawang Merah: ‘’ huh, Don't make a sad story now, because of you fault, you
must give me a big, big, BIG pumpkin.’’
And then the old woman give bawang merah the big pumpkin. Bawang merah was so
happy, so she ran at home. She meet her mother. Her mother was anpatient, so she
grab the pumpkin and smash it to the floor. But what happen next?
StepMother : “Aaaakkkkhhh!”
From the pumpkin, there is a lot of snake. They was very scared. They were realy
scared they were afraid that the snakes would bite them.
Bawang Merah: “Mom, I think god just punished us we had done bad thing to
bawang putih. We have to apologize to bawang putih.”
StepMother : “You're right, we have to apologize to bawang putih.”
After that, both of them realize they’re mistake and Then, they apologized to bawang
putih and bawang putih forgive them After that is it now the family is not poor
anymore. Bawang putih decides to sell all the jewellery and used the money for their
daily lives. And it’s family live happily ever after. And the story ends. So, ladies and
