Jobhie: The business name “Croshérry” is derived from the words crochet and carry. This
name represents our product that is made from crochet yarn and its functionality– which is
you can carry this anywhere, everywhere, at any time. This name is unique and it can help to
differentiate our brand from our competitors and creates a memorable impression on
customers.
Robert: Crosherry’s mission is to provide beautifully handcrafted, multi-purpose crochet
bags that empower consumers to express their unique style while also supporting
sustainable fashion practices. We also visiualize to be a leading brand in creative fashion,
known for innovative, multi-purpose crochet bags that are both stylish and functional and
inspire confidence and style in every customer who carries them.
To make our company better, we have specific goals that we want to achieve. For our
short-term goals we want to meet our customer satisfaction, increase our product efficiency,
create our own website, launch a marketing campaign and new designs of bags. While our
long-term goals are expanding product line, e-commerce growth, increasing our sales by
50%, establishing the brand as a recognized leader in multi-purpose bags locally, and being
one of the most trusted brands in bag products.
Hazel: Our business falls under the industry of Craft and Design Category since our product
is handmade and it needs the creativity to crochet each bag. This type of industry is
competitive, but Croshérry's dedication to excellence sets them apart. Our commitment to
quality and attention to detail ensures that each bag is not only stylish but also durable and
long-lasting.
Hazel: The form of our business is General Partnership. This form of business provides a
shared responsibility for and participation among owners that provides defined processes of
decision-making through structure. Partnerships allow for a wider pool of resources and

expertise, which can help the business grow and succeed. This form of business can help
the proponents to save costs as business partners can share the financial burden for
expenses and capital expenditures needed to run the business.
Paul: Each of the proponents will invest Php 57,500.00 from their personal savings. The
total amount of cash investment will be PHhp 345,000.00. The initial business capital lists all
the necessary expenses for the business. These expenses will be further explained later at
chapter 4.
Julius: For the organizational structure of our business, Jobhie Borbe will be the General
Manager, responsible for overseeing the entire organization, ensuring that all departments
operate efficiently and effectively. John Paul Mislang will be the Quality Control and Tracking
Officer; responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality standards of our products and
tracking their progress throughout the production process. Hazel Silva will be the Marketing
Supervisor; responsible for expanding brand awareness and delivering strategic solutions for
marketing activities. They oversee the development and implementation of marketing
campaigns across various channels to drive customer engagement and increase sales.
Robert: Sandrine Anne Sanchez will be the Production Supervisor; she will be in charge of
overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency, managing the production team,
and optimizing workflow to meet production targets. Julius Pagay will be the Assistant
Production Supervisor, overseeing the manufacturing process and assisting in managing the
production team. And Robert John David will be the Customer Service Representative;
responsible for customer service inquiries, generating sales leads that develop into new
customers, and identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction.

study which covers the marketing plan of our company.
Sandrine: Let me start with the discussion of the business industry background. The craft
and design industry is experiencing significant growth, driven by consumer interest in DIY
and handmade products across all demographics. In 2022, the market grew by 35%, fueled
by the demand for unique, personalized, and affordable items. However, this growth brings
intense competition as more individuals enter the market with their own crafts. Looking
ahead, the industry is expected to continue expanding through 2030, particularly among
young consumers who prioritize aesthetics and functionality in their purchasing decisions.
Businesses must adapt to these trends to succeed in this dynamic landscape.

Hazel: The target market of Croshérry is individuals with an active lifestyle who need a
durable and reliable bag for their daily activities — mostly people aged from 15 years old to
25 years old. People who use bags daily have specific needs such as durability, lots of
space, and organization. Some customers seek not only a functional bag but also a stylish
one. Whether it's for work, school, or everyday use, the Croshérry bag is versatile enough to
complement any outfit or occasion.
Robert: Using the SWOT Analysis, we identify the strengths of our company– the product is
unique since it has a multi-purpose usage feature. We also empower artisans as part of its
social responsibility initiatives, which can enhance its brand reputation and customer loyalty.
Our brand's weaknesses on the other side are slow manufacturing processes, since the bag
is handcrafted, the manufacturing process may not be able to keep up with high demand,
potentially leading to delays in fulfilling orders. Additionally, the limited awareness of the
brand may hinder its ability to reach a wider customer base and compete effectively in the
market.
Hazel: The opportunities of Croshérry are expanding into new markets through online
platforms and collaborations with influencers or other brands. By leveraging digital marketing
strategies and partnerships, Croshérry can increase its brand visibility and attract a larger
customer base.
However, there are threats to consider, such as increasing competition in the market and
potential disruptions in the supply chain. The business industry is large, making it a

Paul: We conducted a survey in Brgy. Palatiw, Pasig City with 379 individuals involved. This

Hazel: The demand analysis of the Croshérry multi-purpose bag tracks 3 months
(December, January, and February) of demands for three designs which are Minimalist,
Floral, and Bohemian. The demand for Crosherry will have increased monthly by 6%.
for the month of december minimalis has:215,floral has 110,bohemian has 39 with the total
of 364 demands, january minimalis has:226,floral has 116,bohemian has 41 with the total of
383 demands and for the month of february minimalis has:240,floral has 123,bohemian has
43 with the total of 406 demands.

Julius: We have analyzed and understood the pricing strategies of similar competitors. By
applying this cost-based pricing, this aims to cover the fixed cost of our product to make an
acceptable price not only for the customer but also for us to have profits. The business
follows a cost-based pricing approach, where the total cost per unit is P361.08. A 60%
markup is added, resulting in an initial price of P577.73. We adjusted the price to Php 580.00
to account for rounding and to ensure a more competitive price point in the market.

Jobhie: A marketing strategy is very essential to reach potential customers and create
brand awareness. Since there is a growing population in social media, online marketing will
help the business increase its audience and easily reach different individuals which will also
contribute to sustaining the market of the business.To boost the business and attract new
customers, Croshérry will make a sales promotion on different social media platforms such

media promotion, we will model our product to be visually appealing and engaging to capture
the attention of potential customers scrolling through their feeds. Additionally, we will

set it apart from our competitors. One of the standout features of Croshérry is its
convertibility. It can be transformed from a shoulder bag into a backpack or a handbag,
allowing it to adapt to any occasion or need. Also, crosherry bag is lightweight and
comfortable to use unlike the other bags that are sturdy, making it perfect for everyday use
without causing strain on your shoulders or back. Each Croshérry bag is meticulously
handcrafted, making every piece unique and adding a personal touch. It also offers
many compartments for organizing your belongings. And lastly, our website has a
special loyalty discount program as a thank you for the customers’ continued

products. Customers can get a free wallet and discount from this card.
Robert: We anticipate potential risks in our business and think of strategies in place to
mitigate them. We found these possible risks in our company: Finding affordable materials
while maintaining high quality products, slow manufacturing process, the design flaws or
errors in crochet patterns may lead to defective products, affecting customer satisfaction,
and inconsistent yarn supply or stock shortages may delay production, affecting orders.
Our business plans to mitigate potential risks by exploring affordable materials, improving
manufacturing processes, addressing design flaws in crochet patterns, and partnering with
multiple yarn suppliers to avoid stock shortages and delays. We will also increase manpower
to meet production needs while maintaining quality.
Paul: And now that we’re done to chapter 3, let’s now proceed to the chapter 4 of our study
which is all about the technical aspect of our business.
Paul: The actual Croshérry Business Office is located at 273 M.H. Del Pilar St., Palatiw,
Pasig City. The decision of the proponents to select this location as their main office was
driven by its advantage of the certain supply and materials as this is near the City Market.
Paul: This product flow highlights the process for creating the multi-purpose crochet bags,
Croshérry. The bags will be produced manually and handcrafted. The main goal is to offer
versatile, sustainable, and fashionable crochet bags for everyday use. This structured flow
ensures consistent quality while promoting sustainability and craftsmanship for Croshérry.

Robert: The manufacturing process of Crosherry consists of 6 steps. First, gathering and
organizing the materials that are needed for making Croshérry bags. Second, when all the
materials are prepared, start doing the bag using the crochet hook and yarn. Third, sew the
nylon fabric inside the bag. Fourth, put a strap and a zipper on it. With the strap and zipper
in place, finalize the bag's interior compartments by securing any additional pockets or
dividers. Fifth, conduct a thorough quality control check on each bag. And finally, package
the finished bags and prepare them for delivery to customers.
Hazel: Croshérry uses secure packaging with wax paper and a strong cardboard box to
protect the bag during delivery. This keeps the bag safe from damage. The package also
includes a thank-you card and stickers, adding a personal touch that makes customers feel
appreciated and helps build brand loyalty.
Sandrine: Croshérry needs to obtain essential permits to legally operate, protecting owners'
assets from potential liabilities and enhancing long-term performance. Required licenses
include a Mayor's Permit, DTI registration, a Barangay Permit, and SEC registration. The
total cost for these permits is 8,350 pesos, an important investment to ensure compliance
and safeguard our business interests.
Julius: Croshérry is seeking the best candidates with exceptional crochet skills, who will be
hired immediately. To facilitate the production of crochet bags, unique skills in sewing and
artistry using crochet techniques are necessary. The allowances of each staff are determined
based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and job responsibilities. This ensures
fair compensation for each role within the organization and helps to attract and retain top
talent. The total amount for allowances expense is Php 56, 000.00
Jobhie: We evaluate the different materials, equipments, and furnitures needed in the
operation of the product that will help to improve and manufacture the business. The total
costs for the raw materials is Php 18, 250.00, while the total costs for tools is Php 2,383.60,
the total cost for equipment is 50,648.00, and a total cost of Php 5,940.00 for furnitures.
Jobhie: Crosherry will have its buffer fund worth Php 47,248.40 to ensure that the company
has sufficient funds available for emergencies or unexpected expenses. We will put it in
Bangco de Oro, Pasig, Market Avenue. This branch of BDO is the best location because it's
near the company's office
Sandrine: Effective material management is crucial for producing quality Croshérry
multipurpose bags that satisfy customers and drive business success. For each bag, the
total cost of materials is 262 pesos. By focusing on optimizing this cost, Croshérry can
improve productivity and maintain a competitive edge while ensuring the durability and
texture of the product, fostering customer loyalty and enhancing brand image.

Julius: The utilities expenses consist of the electricity bill, which amounts to ₱3,000.00 for
power used in lighting, machinery, and other operational needs. The water bill totaling
₱1,000.00 for water supply used in operations, sanitation, and other functions. And internet
expense costs ₱3,000.00 for connectivity essential for communication and online operations,
resulting in a total utilities expense of ₱7,000.00.
Julius: Croshérry operates from Monday to Saturday, with Sunday designated as a rest day
for all employees. Our official hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a scheduled
break time from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. While we have set office hours, we gladly accept
orders from our online shop beyond these times to accommodate our customers' different
schedules.
Jobhie: And now let me discuss the ordering process of our business. To expand market
reach, Croshérry uses online order forms, which create legally binding contracts between the
seller and buyer, ensuring accurate and complete orders. Croshérry is available at TikTok
Shop and Shopee. We will also use other social media platforms, such as Instagram and
Facebook to take orders from customers. Customers can also order from Croshérry’s
website by filling out the order form and selecting their desired items for delivery or pickup.
We will use J&T Express exclusively for delivery. Customers can conveniently pay for their
purchases through the payment systems provided by Tiktok Shop and Shopee. But if the
order was made outside of these platforms, such as using Instagram or Facebook or our
website, the customer can pay through GCash or PayMaya.
Hazel: We will provide a sales invoice in every order to ensure transparency and keep a
record of the transaction. This invoice will detail the items purchased, quantities, prices, and
any applicable taxes or fees.
Hazel: And now let’s proceed to the corporate social responsibilities or the chapter 5 of our
study.
Hazel: In our community, Croshérry helps by giving Jobs to local artisans with fair pay
and training helping them build better lives. Our brand also supports community
development by working with local organization and encouraging inclusive hiring practice
supports local businesses and works on community projects to make a positive impact
on.
Hazel: Croshérry also boosts the local economy by sourcing materials from the local
business and promoting fair trade. By growing its business, it contributes to economic
development in our area.

Paul: As Croshérry expects it to boom in the future, the proponents planned an
expansion to its compensation and benefits. Croshérry company adopts Base Salary
Plus where employees will have an extra salary based on the performance allowing
them to stay motivated. The commissioning will also give 3% addition from their basic
salary from every bag sold. This will lead towards more passionate and hardworking
employees of the company.
To give incentives to employees, we strongly adhere to the Labor Code in providing
them benefits. The management will also implement the Holiday Pay, Overtime Pay,
Statutory Benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG where it is under the Labor
Code of the Philippines. The company also includes the Service incentive Leave,
Maternal and Paternal Leave. Besides the benefits, Crosherry has considered the needs
of the employee by giving them additional bonuses such as; 13th Month Pay and Fringe
Benefits.

Paul: In planning of the crosherry, we started from August - November 2024 giving us a
3 months span of preparation for the grand opening last december. The month of August
focuses on aiming to develop a product through checking and getting the insights of the
community. Month of September is dedicated for the preparation of the operation of the
business, from registering all the requirements to sourcing local suppliers, investing and
financing tools and equipment. The month of October intends for the first production of
crosherry bags, ensuring that each is handcrafted with proper care. The last month of
preparation, which is November, includes a soft opening as the crosherry wants to gain
recommendations and suggestions for the improvement of the bag.
The first week of December is the grand opening, as it officially opened to the public.
Crosherry incorporates all of the collected suggestions from the customers. Giving a

Most of them were willing to pay PHP 575–600. They considered durability as the most
important factor when buying a bag. They also wanted extra features like compartments
and adjustable straps to make the bags more useful. Majority liked minimalist designs
and neutral colors.
Hazel: They also preferred bags that came with freebies and focused on durability and
functionality. Most of the respondents preferred to shop online and said they would
recommend the bags to family and friends. Wallets were the most popular matching
product for the bags. These results can help improve product design and marketing
plans.
Robert: The majority of respondents expressed a preference for purchasing the
Croshérry minimalist neutral-tone bag through online shops, highlighting its durability
and functionality. To further attract customers, offering freebies such as wallets can
