1. PROJECT INFORMATION

TATA STEEL intends to build new ZED system at CRM, BARA for treatment of effluent
discharge.

2. SCOPE OF WORK

This technical specification covers the scope of complete erection, testing and
commissioning of entire electrical system along with some miscellaneous supply as per
BOQ attached.

For detail scope of Work refer- “BOQ for Supply, Installation, Testing &
Commissioning”, as per attached annexure A.1 & A.2

I Installation of Earthing System

Installation of Lightning Protection system including
lightning arrestor, 1000mm long vertical interception

splicer, cross splicer, conductor holder @ 1mtr. and GI
strips as per TSL standard.
J Passive Fire Protection System
Painting power as well as control cables shall be
painted with fire retardant paint at a regular interval of 30 m
at a stretch of 1.5 m length on straight run and cable entering
and exit to panel located at field and also at the entry and Kg 10
exit of cable basement and vault. Moreover, M-seal putty
shall be considered wherever LT power cables entering panel
base plate.
