Minecraft YouTubers Who Destroyed Their Careers S1 Video Script

1. These are Minecraft YouTubers who destroyed their careers, and we’ll be starting with

SkyDoesMinecraft. Who at his peak, was making an estimated 200,000 dollars monthly

from his YouTube channel alone. But as a result of bad decisions, his life took an

unexpected turn.

2. Sky or Adam Dahlberg, started making Minecraft videos in 2011. But by 2015, he had

his very own action figure, was featured in a lady gaga music video, and was even the

second most subscribed to gaming channel, just under Pewdiepie. With so much profit

coming through, he decided to start his own business.

3. Adam created his own company called Sky Media, with the goal of producing more

videos faster. But he was also unsure of how long Minecraft would stay popular. As he

saw his commentary videos getting less views, despite having an entire team helping him.

Except, this wasn't the only issue that Adam was facing.

“I’ve noticed that it’s kinda hard to really be myself in my recording. Because I’ve always just

kind of said whatever is on my mind. I’ve always just kind of let myself go, and I’ve noticed that

with my commentaries recently. That it’s been really really hard to do that because I'm

constantly thinking of censoring myself. I’m always constantly thinking of what word I can

replace another word with so that it doesn't, so that I don’t swear and I’ve just noticed it’s really

4. Throughout 2016, Adam slowly lost interest for the game, in the offices he had originally

purchased to further promote it. He understood that minecraft would most likely always

revolve around an audience of children. The censorship or family friendly content that

was required to maintain this audience, made him feel that he could no longer be himself

on camera.

“My content is changing, my personality I can feel shifting. I think that’s just a natural thing that

happens with growth. I just kind of wanted to make this video to just let you guys know that I'm

having a lot of self-reflection and I appreciate everybody sticking along with me. During my I

5. Losing passion, he would end up ditching minecraft completely. Turning away from the

name that he had spent years creating.

“She got that walk, that talk, the way, she spots what’s going on inside my head.” (00:00:11:12 -

6. Instead, Adam was determined to make a name for himself in music, so he would change

his YouTube channel name to Net Nobody. Rebranding himself completely and no

longer posting any content related to minecraft. His music career would start similarly to

any other, but after publicly criticizing another famous YouTuber, things would quickly

change.

“Coming to remind you what you said to me, KSI. Don’t be salty now. Maybe if you stopped

trying to be a wanna be Post Malone, and went back to playing with blocks, you’d be happy

again. What is it going to be like when you get absolutely destroyed by a retired minecraft

7. Adam claimed KSI wasn't a real artist. Stating that he created music as a trend, releasing

diss tracks only to create drama he could later react to for more profit. Despite KSI

responding in a mostly joking manner, Adam threatened to end his career, by apparently

defeating him at his own game. Releasing a diss track to show KSI the difference

between a real and fake artist.

“A retired Minecraft YouTuber with I think over 10 million subscribers has decided he wants to

beef me. And he’s made a diss track on me. So this guy who is now called Net Nobody, or some

random shit. He used to be called SkyDoesMinecraft, so he was a minecraft YouTuber. Yes he

would play with blocks and do stupid videos for little kids, and you know what he made quite a

bit of money from it. But he decided to throw all that away, because he wanted to become a

8. After reacting to Adams diss track, KSI began working on a counter diss track. Hyping

up the drama by releasing a suggestive image, but before KSI could even respond. Adam

released a second diss track, making KSI respond with yet another reaction.

“This is gonna sound weird but. Please don’t tell me he starts singing, I hope he doesn't fucking

sing, I’d be actually pissed. No, no, what is this, what is this, how is this, how is this a response.

I’m about to give him the diss track of his life, and he’s just there going.” (00:02:33:08 -

9. Despite KSI turning the disagreement into a comedy. His diss track would be very far

from a joke, exposing Adam of multiple allegations. Which claimed that he was a wife

beater, abusive, and a deadbeat father. Even flying out the mother of his own child, to

make things worse. Instead of releasing another diss track to counter these claims, Adam

would react poorly in front of millions of people to see.

“I'm not gonna let this shit happen to me because if I don't disprove this. Then I'm leaving a

f***** up legacy for my son. And I'm not gonna let that f****** happen. Like this may be

f****** jokes to you JJ but this is my son. This is my legacy, this is my family I'm not gonna let

this shit continue to f****** happen. Like I don't know what the f*** her problem is, I don't

know why the f*** she hates me so much. All I wanted for her was to find her god damn

purpose. I just don't get it, I want the rumors to stop I want the f****** bullshit to stop.

recognize me when I visited him… It's not a f****** joke so you all fell for my bait (IDK sorry),

10. It was clear that this was more than just drama, Adam had real allegations. And from

KSI’s exposure, this was only the start of his true identity being revealed.

“I know that it's no secret anymore that me and Allesa have separated and you know along with

that we have a kid so there's a lot of things happening on the personal end of the spectrum that

makes things a little bit difficult and you know makes things a lot harder for me I just wanted to

say like I appreciate the fact that you've all been able to stick around with me during my lows my

lows have been very very heavy this year and you know a lot of people have seen and a lot of

people have noticed it you know I just want to say I appreciate you all for sticking around with

11. In 2017, Adam had lost his company, his music career was failing from KSI’s exposure,

and now he was battling multiple allegations, which prevented him from seeing his own

son. These allegations became more common after breaking up with Alesa. As they often

argued through public tweets. Adam claimed Alesa was abusive, manipulative, and a

chronic cheater. Despite everything, Alesa often defended Adam’s online behavior, and

the couple eventually got back together. But only for a short while, as it wouldn't take

long for Adam to release more allegations, claiming similar statements as before.

“If you want if you want to see if there's any like merit to the claims with with a dawn if like I

was abusive or anything the house that I lived in one five go ahead and check my name on that

see if there's any arrest records or go ahead and see if there's any um I guess proof that there was

anything really crazy that happened you know just do the do the information yourself find it

yourself like I have nothing to hide come on I literally given I'm given your people my address.”

12. Alesa claimed the abuse was actually just her defending herself against Adam. Who had

cornered her and said “he would do everything in his power to make sure the court saw

her as an unfit mother.” As a result of him not moving, she would grab his neck and

punch him. The cops would take her away, but she wouldn't state the abuse on Adam’s

part. Because she was scared that if Adam went to prison, there would be no financial

stability to take care of their son.

“I'm sorry that you didn't realize I guess that you know being a single mother was going to be a

13. From 2017 until 2020, Adam’s channel had declined substantially. As a result of his

music pulling significantly less numbers, he would end up returning to making minecraft

videos. Except this would be short lived. As he would either upload inconsistently, or

announce big chnages, that were rarely ever followed through. The only thing that

wouldn't change, is that Adam would continue to face more allegations.

“Like at the end of the day dude your perspective is your perspective and my perspective is my

perspective my receipts can say different things your receipts can they say different things.”

14. In 2020, Adam talked about the collapse of his company while reacting to old videos.

While explaining everything, he made brief comments about someone named Ross. Who

was one of his former employees. Ross became aware of Adam’s comments.

15. And he stated that he left Sky Media, because he had no creative control over the channel

he had initially sold to be a part of the company. When he finally left, he was given the

choice to either buy the channel back or start completely fresh. Unable to agree with the

asking price, Ross would be forced to start a completely new channel. Making him

uneasy towards Adam, because he couldn't get back the channel he had spent years

working on.

“The fact that you're harping on three-year-old drama makes me think that you really have

nothing going on for you right now and your hug you're hyper focused on blaming me for your

your non success on your pal Ross.” (00:18:03:05 - 00:18:14:28) 11.TH

16. Despite Adam claiming that Ross was harping on three year old drama. He was actually

providing clarification for the people who were constantly asking. Eventually, Adam had

posted so much about the drama, fans started asking for images of the real purchase

agreement.

17. However, Adam continued by responding with video or text messages, accompanied by

little to no evidence. It wasn't until Ross released the actual agreement, that many of

Adam’s claims were debunked. Showing evidence that Adam had lied about the purchase

price for Rosses channel. Which was only $4,000 dollars which Adam had originally

claimed was a 5 figure deal. Ross had also shown that Adam had failed to give a 5% of

the company's sale if it were ever sold.

18. For a long time, Ross had been at the receiving end of hate from Adam’s community. But

even after disproving many of Adam’s claims, and having plenty of evidence to take

legal action. Ross would end the statement by thanking Adam for the opportunity, as well

as that he expected nothing in return. Adam’s usual response would change.

“Remember me for the Adam that helped you and did a lot for you not the one that was you

know suffering from a lot of mental *** and can finally caving in under the pressure and losing

his mind when he had a million things on his plate just remember Adam that was good at him

okay I don't want to do this anymore man *** hate this and I really care about you but man you

19. It was clear Adam’s mental state was slipping. But after Alesa’s exposure, and now

Ross’s which showed real evidence. Even his most loyal supporters began to question his

true character.

20. As in 2022, Adam faced his worst allegations, and the evidence was even stronger. A

woman named Liz, released a 4,000 word testimony.

21. It began by stating she had spent months loving Adam. Which eventually led her into

moving in with him. But the relationship began to have issues, as he constantly pressured

her into having a child. When she finally became pregnant, Liz claimed Adam didn't even

care. Instead, he became increasingly secretive, by always hiding and deleting messages.

22. When she confronted him about this, Adam tried to convince her to be in a polygamous

relationship.

23. A few months later, Liz reported Adam was no longer sleeping or eating. His behavior

was sporadic. With mood swings, making him verbally and physically abusive. But, he

was also becoming a lot more strange.

24. Apparently, Adam forced her dog to drink gatorade and eat candy. He jumped in and out

of windows. Scattered food over counters and floors, and even blasted music while

speaking in tongues.

25. But out of everything written on the 4,000 word testimony. Nothing topped the bizarre

behavior of Adam cutting himself on accident, and painting the walls of their house, with

his own blood.

26. After this incident, Adam was rushed to the hospital and Liz would frequently check on

him.

“And right now i don't respect you jingly jingling oh my gosh i'm just busting pistachios over

and over and over again into my mouth oh i'm focused i'm trying to make our kid retarded.”

27. Whether Adam was in physios or saw the situation as a joke is unclear. Liz ended the

testimony by stating his action caused her to contemplate worse things, while still being

pregnant. She also relocated to a completely different state. Where she gave birth to

Adam’s child, while having a restraining order against him.

28. Below the testimony, Liz attaches multiple pieces of evidence which relate to what was

said. Everything from the verbal and physical abuse. To Adam being taken to the

hospital. And even police reports with multiple witnesses.

29. In one of the reports, it states that Adam was arrested for aggressive behavior. Where he

was threatening to kill people and mumbling about random things.

30. Liz also includes images of their apartment in disarray. Where she can clearly be seen

distraught, from the actions of Adam.

31. She also includes a PayPal balance of over negative $6,000. According to Liz, Adam was

in debt to multiple companies by never doing the work. He had spent the little they had

left, on candy and drugs.

32. It wouldn't take long for other people to become aware of this testimony. Which only

resulted in more people stepping forward. Uncovering the lies and deception that had

become Adam’s true character, or maybe who he was…from the start.
