• Structure, diagram and properties (with explanation) of the Ionic
compound, Diamond, Graphite, Silicon dioxide, Metallic structures.
• Dot-cross diagram for Ionic and Covalent compound.
• Isotope & radioactive isotope.
• Calculating e, p, n for atoms, ions and isotopes.

Chapter 3: “Stoichiometry”:
• Mole calculation for determining Mass / Volume / Concentration of
a substance.
• Empirical formula / Molecular formula calculation.
• Percentage yield calculation.
• Which substance is in excess or limiting agent?
• Gas volume related calculation.
• Writing Ionic equation.

• Electrolysis by using inert electrode – for molten electrolyte and
aqueous electrolyte (anode, cathode, electrolyte, reaction at
anode & cathode, observation).
• Purification or refining of impure metal (anode, cathode,
electrolyte, reaction at anode & cathode, observation).

Chapter 5: “Chemical Energetics”:
