General Instructions :

 This Question paper has 5 Sections A – E.


 Section A has 18 MCQs and 2 Assertion - Reason based questions of 1 Marks each.
 Section B has 5 Very Short Answer Type Questions carrying 2 marks each.
 Section C has 6 Short Answer Type Questions carrying 3 marks each.
 Section D has 4 Long Answer Type Questions carrying 5 marks each.
 Section E has 3 Case Based integrated units of assessment (4 marks each).
 All Questions are Compulsory. However, an internal choice in 2 questions of 2 marks, 2
questions of 3 marks and 2 questions of 5 marks has been provided. An internal choice has
been provided in the 2 marks questions of section E.

1. The angle of elevation of the top of a building from the foot of the tower is 300 and the angle
of elevation of the top of the tower from the foot of the building is 450. If the tower is 35 m
high, then find the height of the building.
2. The mean of the following frequency table is 50 but the frequencies x and y in class interval
20 – 40 and 60 – 80 are missing. Find the missing frequencies.
