UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
1. Delay condoned.
2. Ms. Shobha Gupta, learned senior counsel for the petitioner,
at the outset, very fairly states that the competent Authority to
prevail upon the recognized political parties for creation of an
in-house mechanism to deal with complaints of sexual harassment in
accordance with provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at
Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 shall
be the Election Commission of India. She states that the petitioner

3. In view of this, the instant writ petition is disposed of, at
this stage, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the
competent Authority. In case, the petitioner’s grievance is not
effectively addressed, she shall be at liberty to approach the
appropriate forum in accordance with law.
4. All pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
