using PHP, Apache Server, and MySQL 5.62, aimed at streamlining hostel administration and
providing an intuitive interface for residents. By integrating digital solutions into traditional
hostel management practices, the system addresses the diverse needs of both administrators
and students, ensuring efficient operations and improved user satisfaction. The system is
divided into two primary modules—the Admin Module and the User Module—each
designed to serve its respective user group with distinct and targeted functionalities.
The Admin Module is equipped with tools to manage hostel operations seamlessly.
Administrators can securely log in and manage their profiles, including updating personal
information and changing passwords. The module provides robust functionality for creating,
editing, and deleting courses, as well as managing hostel rooms by defining room
configurations, seaters, and associated fees. Student registration and room allocation are
simplified through an organized interface that enables the creation of student profiles,
assignment of rooms, and management of these profiles. Administrators can view and print
detailed student records or delete them as needed. To address resident concerns, the system
includes a complaint management feature that ensures complaints are resolved promptly. The
module also facilitates feedback review to help administrators make data-driven
improvements to hostel services. For uninterrupted administrative access, the system
incorporates a password recovery feature, making it highly reliable and user-friendly.
The User Module focuses on delivering a smooth and interactive experience for hostel
residents. Students can easily register through a user-friendly registration form and log in
securely to access their personalized dashboards. The module allows users to manage their
profiles, book hostels, and view detailed information about their allotted rooms. Effective
