Purpose of the Role
Perform exploratory data analysis, develop quantitative, predictive models for business problems using one or more
of Python, SAS, R, Watson- analytics, etc. Ability to explain the model parameter and translate this into an
implementable business rules
Strong problem-solving skills with good knowledge of Machine Learning, Statistical concepts, Artificial Intelligence
techniques and algorithms and their applicability. Identify meaningful information out of data; have expertise in the
tools WITHIN the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.
Areas of Responsibility
1. Delivery - Program Delivery & Governance
The Analyst – Analytics Delivery will report status of the individual tasks and highlight any deviation /
schedule slippage
2. Delivery - Project delivery - Analytics & Visualization
The Analyst – Analytics Delivery will identify data sources from a given landscape, extract data from simple
data sources such as RDBMS or pre-codified ways of extracting data using SQL. S/he will participate in
Analytics problem definition for a part of the overall analytics solution, with help from SME, execute data
visualization, data analysis or predictive modeling & analytics techniques with support from senior team
members
3. Delivery - Project Delivery - Advanced Analytics Solutioning
The Analyst – Analytics Delivery will develop advanced analytics and Machine Learning models using pre-
defined process steps, and tools such as SAS, R, Python
4. Delivery - Project delivery - Quality Management
The Analyst – Analytics Delivery will apply the predefined quality measurement framework at an individual
level tasks in the project
5. Talent – Training
The Analyst – Analytics Delivery will contribute under guidance to training content development, and
training delivery
Knowledge, Skills required for the role
Strong problem-solving skills with good knowledge of statistical concepts, techniques, algorithms, and
expertise in SAS / R or equivalent tools
Hands-on experience in SQL coding using utilities like Sqlplus, TOAD or Proc SQL in SAS

Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlikview will be added advantage
High degree of programming and analytical skills
Knowledge of analytics using big data platform is preferred
Have analytics experience in one or more of the functional areas:
o Financial & Risk Analytics
o Customer, CRM Analytics
o Sales & Marketing Analytics
o Online & Social Analytics
o CPG Analytics
o Supply Chain, Inventory & Operations Analytics
