PROBLEM STATEMENT

Network Analyzer

The problem statement for a network analyzer project may be as follows:

Design and develop a network analyzer tool that can capture and analyse network traffic,
providing insights into network performance, security issues, and potential bottlenecks. The
tool should be capable of capturing packets from multiple sources simultaneously, displaying
the captured data in a user-friendly interface, and offering advanced filtering options to help
users analyze the data in detail.

The network analyzer should be able to identify and analyse various types of network traffic,
including HTTP, FTP, SMTP, and other common protocols, as well as support for custom
protocols. It should also provide real-time monitoring of network traffic, with the ability to
generate alerts for unusual or suspicious network activity.

In addition, the tool should include features such as packet reconstruction, statistical analysis
of network traffic, and the ability to export data for further analysis in other tools. It should
be designed to work on multiple platforms, including Windows, Linux, and macOS, and be
compatible with a range of network interfaces and hardware. The tool should also be scalable
to handle large networks with high traffic volumes.
