Supervisor in managing
the duties of the General
Services Office (GSO)
Travel Section as directed,
consisting of hotel
reservations throughout
Tunisia, all travel
reservations, ticketing
process and issuance of
travel orders for Mission
Tunis. Assists in ensuring
accuracy of information,
timeliness of transactions,
quality of performance,
and satisfaction of
customers. Assists in
providing the necessary
oversight to guarantee
Major Duties:
compliance with
Department of State
regulations and USG and
Tunisian laws concerning
official travel. Directly
supervises, schedules and
directs the two airport
expediters. Liaises with the
community regarding all
expediter services at the
airport (pets, equipment,
visitors, official travel,
unaccompanied cargo,
etc.). Reconciles both
travel purchase cards
(hotels and
transportation/airfare).
Serves as backup Travel
Supervisor as required.
