UNIT 2: A Great Day

Read and match the highlighted words with the pictures.

Today Marina is having breakfast early. She is wearing


a stripped skirt, white top and navy blue jacket.
She’s matching this with brown high heels (She’s
taking her flip flops in the bag!) and a big brown bag.
She’s also wearing her sister’s earrings for good luck.
It is Marina’s first day at her job and she is very
excited!

Marion and Kennis are going to a party. Kennis is


wearing blue shirt and tie. He’s also wearing
dark grey pants and black shoes.

Marion is wearing a tight grey dress and black


high heels. She’s using a lot of pink accessories:
a silk scarf, a small purse, sunglasses and
earrings. Her nails are also pink!

This Saturday Gina is visiting the mall. She is wearing


comfortable clothes: a baggy shirt and tight jeans
with a scarf, bag and boots.

David and Karen are meeting some friends for


lunch. David is wearing blue jeans and a
sweatshirt with a jacket.

Karen is wearing tights with boots and a long,


stripped T-shirt.
Sarah is relaxing at home. She is wearing jeans, a
sweater and vest with flats.

Cinthia and Joe are enjoying a weekend at their
