Part II. Analyze and solve each problem carefully.
1. Point M (5.5, 1) is the midpoint between L (-7,3) and N. Find the coordinates of N.
2. A triangle has vertices J (0,7) , O (5,-6) , and Y (10,7). Find the length of the altitude to the shortest side.
3. There are eight points, each with integer coordinates that are 10 units from the origin. List all the points.
4. Find the perimeter of a triangle whose vertices are (-4,0) , (4,0) , and (4,6).
5. For quadrilateral ABCD with A (0,-1) , B (6,-1) , C (6,-7) , and D (0,-5):

9. The vertices of a quadrilateral are M (-3,2) , A (-1,6) , R (5,5) , and Y (2,1). Write an equation for the line containing its
diagonals. Express the equation in slope-intercept form.
