Personal Statement
I am a friendly, condent person with a range of previous work experience. As a committed worker I have always strived to complete tasks to the best of my ability. I nd it easy to t in to a team and cooperate well with others.
Interests and Experience
Working as a sales assistant in a shop and as a barbecue chef in a market stall provided me with retail experience: serving customers and operating tills. I believe that this experience would make me a valuable team member in a customer service environment. In addition, working as a carer for a disabled young man has required me to provide excellent service to ensure the comfort of my employer. At school, as a member of a House Team, I was required to organise and run events to raise money for charity. I have also helped to plan large charity dinners with my family for many years and worked in a hotel restaurant gaining knowledge of food preparation and table service. In my free time I volunteer at a local school for children with additional support needs. As a result of working with some challenging people I have learnt a lot about coping under pressure. Music is one of my greatest interests in life. Playing drums in a band and organising gigs has put me in situations where I must use my own initiative along with social and organisational skills. I teach piano and drums to children and have learnt communication skills which have helped me in a wide range of situations.
