At the end of the lesson the, the students will be able to:
A. Explain the rules of subject- verb agreement;
B. Construct sentences using subject-verb agreement;
C. Value the importance of using a proper subject-verb agreement.

A. Topic: Subject-Verb Agreement


B. Materials: Projector, Laptop, Powerpoint presentation
C. Reference: English Arts I. 2000 pp. 136, 137, 138, 139.

1.) Activity

I will be divided the class into 4 groups and observe subject-


verb agreement in performing the following task:

Group I- Arrange scramble words to form correct sentence.


Group II- Write five sentences with a proper subject-verb
agreement in the movie line you’d recently watched.
Group III- Rewrite the given paragraph in the monitor to
make it correct.
Group IV- Perform a very short role play interagating the
proper subject-verb agreement.

I will give 10 minutes practice, Yes, Ma’am


after that you will be able to
present your output in front
of the class.
