Defining the AAEM Library in SAS Enterprise Miner

To access your sample data in the virtual lab, you must define a SAS library named AAEM
in SAS Enterprise Miner.
Note: if you are beginning this course, you do not have to perform these steps now – you will
define this library in Lesson 2. These instructions are provided as a reference
for subsequent sessions.
Depending on how you save your image, the next time you access SAS Enterprise Miner in the
virtual lab, you might need to redefine this library. You can use the Explorer window (View >
Explorer) to view a list of defined SAS libraries and verfiy whether the library is defined.

If you need to redefine the library, follow these steps:

1. Select File > New > Library. The Library Wizard opens.
2. Verify that Create New Library is selected and click Next.
3. In the Name box of the Create or Modify step, type AAEM.
4. For the path, click Browse and then navigate to the sample data folder,
D:\Workshop\Winsas. Click the AAEM folder and click OK.
5. Click Next.
Note: If you see the message Library "AAEM" exists, do you wish to modify it?, click
No and cancel the Library Wizard.
6. On the Confirmation step, click Finish.
