EXHORTATION LINES
Monday, 19th – Saturday 24th July 2021
Introduction:
 Every blessing of the kingdom is in response to our obedience – Deut. 28:1-2/ ) 1 And it shall come to
pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his
commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations
of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the
voice of the Lord thy God. (Mat. 5:17)17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am
not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
 No reason is ever tenable with God for disobedience – 1 Sam. 15:15/21/24)15 And Saul said, They
have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to
sacrifice unto the Lord thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed. 21 But the people took of the spoil,
sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the Lord
thy God in Gilgal.24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of
the Lord, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
 Obedience may be costly, but the end result is priceless – Gen. 22:1-5/16-18)1 And it came to pass
after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I
am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of
Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. 3 And
Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and
Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God
had told him. 4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. 5 And Abraham
said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come
again to you, 16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and
hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will
multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall
possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because
thou hast obeyed my voice.

Obedience Speaks Louder Than Voice
 The bible is a practical manual for profitable living – Jos. 1:8) 8 This book of the law shall not depart
out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according
to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good
success. (Heb. 4:2) 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did
not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)16 All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
 Abraham’s obedience to sacrifice Isaac brought him under a sworn blessing that covers his
generations after him – Gen. 22:16-18)16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because
thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee,
and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea
shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth
be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
 Every act of obedience is passing a test, which qualifies us for a change of story – Gen. 22:1-3/16-
18)1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and
he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and
get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I
will tell thee of. 3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young
men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the
place of which God had told him. 16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast
done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in
multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore;
and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be
blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Obedience Speaks Louder Than Voice
 God does not only answer prayers; He also responds to our acts of obedience – 1 Sam. 15:22-23)
22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice
of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is
as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of
the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king. ( 2 Cor. 10:3-6)3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do
not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the
pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against
the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in
a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
 The red sea gave way through raw obedience – Exo. 14:14-15) 14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye
shall hold your peace. 15 And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the
children of Israel, that they go forward: (Psa. 114:1-8 )1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob
from a people of strange language; 2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. 3 The sea saw it, and
fled: Jordan was driven back. 4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. 5 What ailed
thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? 6 Ye mountains, that ye
skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the
presence of the God of Jacob; 8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of
waters.
 When we walk in full obedience, impossible doors open to us on their own accord – Psa. 114:1-8)
1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; 2 Judah was his
sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. 3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. 4 The mountains
skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. 5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou
Jordan, that thou wast driven back? 6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; 8 Which turned the
rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.(Jhn. 14:21)21 He that hath my
commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my
Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Obedience Speaks Louder Than Voice
 No one knows what is in obedience until he has obeyed – Gen. 12: 1-4)1 Now the Lord had said unto
Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I
will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and
thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee
shall all families of the earth be blessed. 4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot
went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. (Gen. 22:15-
18)15 And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16 And said, By myself
have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only
son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven,
and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in
thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
 Obedience brought the massive walls of Jericho down – Josh. 6:1-20 )1 Now Jericho was straitly shut
up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. 2 And the Lord said unto Joshua, See,
I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. 3 And ye shall
compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. 4 And
seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass
the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. 5 And it shall come to pass, that when
they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall
shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every
man straight before him. 6 And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the
ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord. 7
And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark
of the Lord. 8 And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing
the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before the Lord, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of
the covenant of the Lord followed them. 9 And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the
trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets. 10 And
Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither
shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout. 11 So the ark of
the Lord compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp. 12
And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the Lord. 13 And seven priests
bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually, and blew with the
trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the Lord, the
priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets. 14 And the second day they compassed the city once, and
returned into the camp: so they did six days. 15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early
about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day
they compassed the city seven times. 16 And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew
with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city. 17 And the city
shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the Lord: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all
that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. 18 And ye, in any wise keep
yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing,
and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. 19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and
iron, are consecrated unto the Lord: they shall come into the treasury of the Lord. 20 So the people shouted
when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the
trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up
into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
 Every act of obedience opens a new chapter to our life – Gen. 12:1-4)1 Now the Lord had said unto
(Gen. 24:1)1 And
Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.

Obedience Speaks Louder Than Voice
 Obedience is either total or it is disobedience – 1 Sam. 15:13-20)13 And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul
said unto him, Blessed be thou of the Lord: I have performed the commandment of the Lord. 14 And Samuel
said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?
15 And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep
and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed. 16 Then Samuel
said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the Lord hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say
on. 17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the
tribes of Israel, and the Lord anointed thee king over Israel? 18 And the Lord sent thee on a journey, and
said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed. 19
Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the Lord, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the
sight of the Lord? 20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and have gone the
way which the Lord sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the
Amalekites.
 Naaman, the leper simply obeyed prophetic instruction and he was cleansed of his leprosy – 2
Kgs. 5:9-14)9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of
Elisha. 10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy
flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. 11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said,
Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and
strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. 12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus,
better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a
rage. 13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee
do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash,
and be clean? 14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of
the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
 God will always manifest himself to the obedient – Jhn. 14:21) 21 He that hath my commandments,
and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love
him, and will manifest myself to him. (Jhn 9:1-8)1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind
from his birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he
was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God
should be made manifest in him. 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night
cometh, when no man can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. 6 When he had
thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man
with the clay, 7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He
went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. 8 The neighbours therefore, and they which before
had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?

Obedience Speaks Louder Than Voice
 Obedience will always provoke the manifest presence of God, which is the master key to a
world of noiseless breakthroughs – Jhn. 14: 21)21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them,
he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will
manifest myself to him. (Deut. 28: 1-13 )1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the
voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that
the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on
thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3 Blessed shalt thou be
in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of
thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 5 Blessed shall
be thy basket and thy store. 6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when
thou goest out. 7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face:
they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. 8 The Lord shall command the
blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in
the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. 9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as
he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways.
10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid
of thee. 11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy
cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 12 The
Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to
bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 13 And
the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be
beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day,
to observe and to do them:
 Obedience brought the widow of Zarephath into realms of supernatural supplies in the time of
famine – 1 Kgs. 17:8-15)8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, 9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath,
which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain
thee. 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow
woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a
vessel, that I may drink. 11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee,
a morsel of bread in thine hand. 12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an
handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in
and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do
as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and
for thy son. 14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the
cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. 15 And she went and did according
to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
 Obedience to God’s commandment is gateway to having all our needs in life met – Deut. 28: 1-3)1
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and
to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high
above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt
hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be
in the field.

Obedience Speaks Louder Than Voice
 Every supernatural breakthrough testimony is rooted in our obedience – Gen. 26:1-14) 1 And there
was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto
Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. 2 And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into
Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: 3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless
thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I
sware unto Abraham thy father; 4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give
unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; 5 Because that
Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. 6 And Isaac
dwelt in Gerar: 7 And the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared
to say, She is my wife; lest, said he, the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she was fair to
look upon. 8 And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines
looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife. 9 And Abimelech
called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she is thy wife: and how saidst thou, She is my sister? And Isaac
said unto him, Because I said, Lest I die for her. 10 And Abimelech said, What is this thou hast done unto
us? one of the people might lightly have lien with thy wife, and thou shouldest have brought guiltiness upon
us. 11 And Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be
put to death. 12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord
blessed him. 13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: 14 For
he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied
him. (Deut. 28:1-13)1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy
God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will
set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake
thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and
blessed shalt thou be in the field. 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and
the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 5 Blessed shall be thy basket and
thy store. 6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. 7
The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come
out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. 8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon
thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land
which the Lord thy God giveth thee. 9 The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath
sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways. 10 And
all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and
in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 12 The Lord shall
open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the
work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 13 And the Lord shall
make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that
thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and
to do them: (Luk. 5:1-8)1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of
God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were
gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s,
and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out
of the ship. 4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down
your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and
have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they
inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which
were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so
that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me;
for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
 The host at the wedding in Cana of Galilee did not have to struggle, but got the sweetest wine
through simple obedience – Jhn. 2:5-11)5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto
you, do it. 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews,
containing two or three firkins apiece. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they
filled them up to the brim. 8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the
feast. And they bare it. 9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew
not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the
bridegroom, 10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men
have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. 11 This beginning of
miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
 Supernatural supplies answer to obedience – 2 Kgs. 4:1-7) 1 Now there cried a certain woman of the
wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest
that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. 2
And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine
handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad
of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. 4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut
the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that
which is full. 5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the
vessels to her; and she poured out. 6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her
son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7 Then she
came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children
of the rest. (Mat. 17:26-27)26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children
free. 27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the
fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take,
and give unto them for me and thee.
