Weekly Report 2

The weekly report summarizes the student's activities during their restaurant practicum over 10 weeks. Weekly Report in Restaurant Practicum

Week 6 (Dining)
Day 22 December 10, 2011, Saturday Im sick thats why I ask Sir Gio to assign me to other station. He assigned me in the Bar and Sushi station. We had a reservation for 95 pax so we are all busy. I helped in making makis, pouring iced tea on glasses, serving drinks like beer and iced tea. I also open the door for the guest.

Week 7 (Dining)
Day 23 December 17, 2011, Saturday I open door for guest, greet them, take order, and serve orders. I wrapped the left overs of guest in a foil for them to take out. Day 24 December 18, 2011, Sunday I take order and serve food. Sir Gio give us an exam about the restaurant and I got 109 correct answers.

Week 8 (Bar)
Day 25 December 19, 2011, Monday First day in bar. I arrange the glasss, wash the utensils. Pour iced tea in the glass. I make a mango daiquiri. I asked Sir Nap (Bartender) about the things to do in the bar and the recipes and procedure of each drinks. Day 26 December 20, 2011, Tuesday I do the mis-en-place in the bar. I get the glasses and arrange it in the bar, I sterilize the utensils, I put water and ice on the pitcher and I put water on the thermos. I make bBlue Margarita. I also helped in dining and arrange the chopsticks. Day 27 & 28 December 21, 22, 2011 I do the mis-en-place. I help in scooping Ice cream. I make Buko Pandan and I also helped in the sushi bar and cut shrimps. Day 29 December 23, 2011, Friday I do the mis-en-place, I sliced the gulaman and squeezed calamansi.

Day 30 December 25, 2011, Sunday I do the mis-en-place. Make ink blush and I alsohelped in the sushi station.

Week 9 (Dining)
Day 31, 32, 33, 34 December 26, 27, 28, 29, 2011 I put tempura sauce on the thermos. I help in wiping the wet utensils.. I take order, I serve and bus out. Day 35 December 30, 2011, Friday I was assigned in the dispatching, I helped in plating the dishes and give it to the waiter. I helped in removing the outer part of shrimp. Day 36 December 31, 2011, Saturday General cleaning in the restaurant. I helped in washing the chairs. I was also assigned in the sushi station and helped in making Extra Large Platter and Large Platter.

Week 10 (Dining)
Day 37 January 2, 2012, Monday I was assigned in the dispatching area. I helped in plating the dishes. I also helped in grilling the foods. Day 38 January 3, 2012, Tuesday I open door for guest, greet them, take order, and serve orders. Day 39 January 6, 2012, Friday Me and Linshia became a runner, we bring down the food and srved it to the guest. We also take order. Day 40 January 7, 2012, Saturday It is my last day in the restaurant. In the afternoon, we are asked to go in ATC branch to get some supplies. When we come back I again do my job in the dining - I greet guest, take their order and serve their foods. In the evening, I helped the waiter to give flyers outside the restaurant.
