DIFFERENTIATION RESULTS

1) Concrete containing Fine RAP (FRAP) exhibited a loss in

hardened properties, the loss is more significant for FRAP
replacement more than 50%. Hence, the optimum dosage
for replacement may be kept at 50%.
2) FRAP based concrete up to 75% replacement could reach the
target strength of 40 MPa with addition of steel fiber. There
is a marginal enhancement in the compressive strength by
about 8–11%.
3) Steel fibers could enhance the flexural and split tensile
> Utilized 1000kN servo- strength by 40–50%. This may be attributed to arresting
controlled test arrangement the micro cracks with fiber inclusion.
4) There was a 15% increase in peak stress, and 50% increase in
the peak strain with fiber inclusion. The compressive toughness of the
concrete increased up to five times with addition
of fibers; this is true for all variations of FRAP content.
5) The water absorption and sorptivity of concrete increased
slightly as the FRAP content increases. However, with the
addition of fibers, there is a decrease in these values. This
may be due to lesser interconnected voids in fiber reinforced
concrete.
