Example:

• I placed the flower pot carefully on the table. ('carefully' word is an adverb in this sentence and shows the
example of how action is performed)

• Yesterday, we learned about multiplication. (tells us when we learned)

• Please try harder. (tells us to what extent to try)

•Please walk across the street. (tells us where)
