GENERAL NOTES AND SPECIFICATIONS:
1. All electrical installation shall be done in accordance with the provision
of the latest edition of the Philippine Electrical Code. The Rules,
Regulations and Requirements of the local power company and the laws and
ordinances of the local enforcing authority.
2. Power service to be supplied shall be 230V, 1Ø, 2W, 60 Hz.
3. All electrical works shall be done under the direct supervision of a duly
licensed Registered Electrical Engineer or Registered Master Electrician.
4. All conductors shall be copper, type THHN 90 °C 600 volt insulation unless
otherwise specified. Insulation color of the conductors shall be as
follows:
Ungrounded – Black
Grounded – White
Equipment Ground = Green
5. Circuit breakers shall be “General Electric (GE)” or approved equal but
only one brand throughout. All circuit breakers shall be bolt-on type,
minimum 10 kAIC for branches or as specified.
6. Mounting height shall be as follows:
a. Light control switch - 1.40 m above floor at center
b. Convenience outlet - 0.30 m above floor at center for non-
weather proof outlet.
c. Special Purpose Outlet - As required by equipment served.
d. Panelboards & MTS - 1.80 m above floor at highest
protective device unless otherwise
required by field conditions.
7. All materials shall be new and of the approved type in accordance with the
drawings and specifications for the location intended.
8. All 20 ampere circuit homeruns to panelboard, more than 30.5 m in length
shall be 5.5 mm2.
9. Standard type of accessories, splicing devices, termination and other
appurtenances for the entire electrical installations shall be used in
accordance with PEC requirements.
10. All non-current carrying metal parts of electrical equipment and lighting
fixture shall be effectively grounded.
11. Pull boxes and junction boxes shall be provided as required by
specifications, codes and local utility company standards for all conduit
runs.
12. No revision on the design shall be made without the approval of the
designer.
