Rectify the leakages if present before commencement of waterproofing application. ‘* Remove all the loosely adhering material like dust, organic solvent (de-shuttering/curing free compound) & oil etc. from the surface by using emery paper, chisel, or wire brush etc. * In case of efflorescence, remove the plaster up to the brick level and clean the masonry surface thoroughly. * Surface cracks (less than 3mm) must be filled by crack filler products & bigger cracks (more than 3mm), honeycombing in concrete, damaged portion and hollow areas must be repaired by polymer modified mortar/ polymer modified fibre reinforcement repair mortal before application. * Surface should be pre-wetted to make surface saturated dry (SSD) condition. Mixing * Mixing ratio - Powder: Liquid = 3:2 © Slowly add 7.2 kg of powder product with 4.8 Kg of liquid polymer to make slurry. * Mixing should be carried out preferably by a mechanical stirrer (3-5 minutes) * Leave the slurry for 5 minutes after thorough mixing to release trapped air, to get the best performance. Prepared slurry should be used within the pot life. Product Application * After thorough mixing, apply the first coat of Seep Blocker Pro 2K evenly with a paintbrush on the prepared surface. * Let the surface dry for 5-6 hours, then apply the second coat of Seep Blocker Pro 2K in a crosswise direction for better results. © For roofs and terraces © Post first coat, apply a reinforcement layer of fibre glass cloth when the first coat is wet and allow it to touch dry for 2 - 4 hours. * Apply 2nd coat and 3rd coat of Seep Blocker Pro 2K in crosswise direction for better results, interval between two coats at least 6 to 8 hrs (Drying depends on ambient temperature) * The overall consumption should be 1 kg slurry in 4.3 sqft. area in 3 coats. # The treatment for all application areas should be left as is for 3-5 days to air cure before carrying out ponding test. Ponding Test * Conduct a 48-hour ponding test at a Somm depth after closing all outlets and address any water seepage or leakage with remedial actions.
