WHEREAS, Section 2 of Comelec Resolution No. 11045 provides
that the sworn List of Authorized Signatories and specimen si'gnatures
of Political Parties shar be p"r"or,-rr1y fiIed by ai.," crr"i.p"?r"r, o,
President, or in their absence, the Secretary_General;
WHEREAS, section 11 of Comerec Resorution No. 11045 provides
that nominees holding appointive or elective office may continue
to hold
office even after acceptance of their nomination;
WHEREAS, on September 1L, 2024, the Commission promulgated
Comelec Resolution No. 11051, re-scheduring the firing of bertrfica'te
of
Candidary for the position of District Repisentative in the BARMM
Parliament, and the filing of List of Nominees and Certificate
of
Acceptance of Nomination with Affidavit of Non-Affinity
of Regional
Parliamentary Political parties (Rppps), in right of the Decisio.

WHEREAS, there is a need to ailow the authorized representative
of
political parties and coalition of political parties to submit the swom
List
of Authorized signatories as there mighi be r:nforeseen circumstances,
acts of God, or {orce majeure which prevents the Chairperson, president
or Secretary-General from filing personally;
WHEREAS, after thorough review, there is a need to amend section
11 of Comelec Resolution No. 11045, to provide that the nominees
of
party-list groups, holding appointive offiies, including active members
of the Armed Forces of the phirippines (AFp) and o"ther officers and
employees in the govemment-owned or controlred corporations,
who
accepts nomination from a-party-list group, shan be considered
resigned
from his/her office, upon the start of the campaign period;
WHEREAS, there is a need to adjust the periods of certain erection
related activities in connection with the conduct of the BARMM
Parliamentary Elections, as a consequence of the re-scheduling of the
period for filing of Certiticate of Candidacy for the position of"Dirt i"t
Representative in the BARMM parliameni and thl firing of List
of
Nominees and Certificate of Acceptance of Nomination wrth Affidavit
of
Non-Affinity of RPPP;

NOW T'HEREFORE, the Commission on Elections, by virtue
of the
powers vested in it by the constitution, the omnibus

SECTION 1. section 2 of Comelec Resorution No. 11045
is amended
to read as follows:

to read as follows:
