The Gospel in colour
Thank you for taking the time to read through this pamphlet.
May God Almighty draw you to Him (John 6:44) the Holy
Spirit touch you and change your heart according to the will
of the Father (John 16:8-11) and you be cleansed completely
by the blood of Jesus Christ (1 John 1:7).
In case you have not accepted Jesus the Christ as your
personal Saviour yet, you can do so by using this booklet as a
guideline. The only way to receive Eternal Life is by accepting
Him. There is no other way.
Please note that not all verses as indicated in the booklet are
a direct translation from the Bible. Some of the verses
indicated have been changed to make it easier to
understand and only serves as a point of reference. Thus the
idea is not to copy the original verse but rather to indicate
there is a portion of scripture that bears reference to the
contents of the changed verse.
In order to make it easier for you to remember, we make use
of different colours to illustrate the various stages when the
gospel is explained. This booklet is only one of many ways in
which the gospel is shared.

THE SPIRITUAL FALL OF MANKIND THROUGH SATAN AND
THE RECOVERY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
In the beginning God created male and female in His own
image and likeness and gave them dominion over the fish,
birds, cattle and every creeping thing on the earth (Genesis
1:26-27). They were without sin and destined never to die.
God put them in the garden of Eden and instructed them not
to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil, for the day they eat of it, they shall surely die (Genesis
2:17).
The serpent (Satan) was more cunning than any beast of the
field which the Lord God had made. He tempted the woman
to eat of the forbidden fruit. She ate of the fruit and gave it
to her husband who also ate it (Genesis 3:6). This caused
immediate spiritual death (spiritual separation between God
and man). This did not only apply to Adam and Eve, but also
for all of mankind to date. This resulted in everybody to be
born in sin and not to live for ever, but to physically die one
time or the other.
During the times of the Old Testament, the High Priest had
to once a year make an atonement with the blood of the sin
offering of atonements for the sins of the whole nation
(Exodus 30:10). God the Father changed that irrevocable by
sending His own Son Jesus the Christ, in the flesh whose
body was offered only once as a perfect offer for complete
redemption of sin for all (Hebrews 10:10). Although the Holy
Spirit came upon people occasionally during times of the Old
Testament (1 Samuel 10:10) the Holy Spirit never
permanently dwelled in a person. After the Ascension of
Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit descended to earth (John 16:7)
and dwells permanently in those who accepted Jesus the
Christ as their personal Saviour (Romans 8:11).

GOLD: “God's Love.” God is love (1 John 4:8). He is the only
living God. There is no God besides Him (Isaiah 45:5). His
love for us will never change because He is the same
yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). His love is
complete and unconditional. He loves the unsaved just as
much He loves those who already have been saved. His
desire is that not a single person should perish, but that each
and every one must come to salvation (1Timothy 2:4). God
so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have
everlasting life" (John 3:16).

BLACK: “Eternal Death.” Satan came to steal, kill and
destroy (John 10:10 a). This caused Adam and Eve to sin and
therefore everybody is sinful by nature. All have sinned and
fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The wages of sin
is death [spiritual separation from God] (Romans 6:23). If
you die in this state you will go to hell for eternity
(Revelation20:15). Once you are in hell, you will not get
another opportunity to receive Jesus as your Lord and
Saviour. A human being only die once and there after comes
the judgement (Hebrews 9:27).
UGEHA: “ Ezowoko.’’ Jesus kwa wizire pontunda zehvu yipo

RED: “Salvation.” Jesus came that we may have life in
abundance (John 10:10 b). The blood of Jesus the Christ is
God's only provision for man's sin. His blood cleanses us
from all sin (1 John 1:7) and through His stripes we are
healed (1 Peter 2:24). He died on the cross in our place (Luke
23:33) and was raised by the Holy Spirit on the third day
(Romans 8:11). Whoever believes in Jesus will not perish,
but have eternal life (John 3:15). Only when you receive Him
and when you are cleansed by His blood, you will have
eternal life and will forever be in presence of God.

WHITE: “Holy Spirit.” Only the Holy Spirit can change the
condition of your heart so as to enable you to receive the
Word of God. The moment you receive Jesus as your
personal Saviour, the Holy Spirits starts to dwell within you
(Romans 8:9). Your body then becomes a temple of God (1
Corinthians 3:16). He will guide you in truth to live a life to
the glory of God and to act according to His will (John 16:13).
The Holy Spirit sets us free from the power of sin that leads
to death (Romans 8:2). Only through the guidance of the
Holy Spirit is it possible to live a life pleasing to God the
Father.
SINAUHAKO: “Ekuro lyomuntu.” Wakona kukura pampo

GREEN: “Personal growth.” You must grow spiritually in the
knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10) and produce fruit in
keeping with repentance (Mathew 3:8). You must produce
works that reflect your faith in God, without which you
cannot be saved (James 2:14). Others will see your works in
Jesus and it will glorify the Father (Matthew 5:16). You also
must become the salt of the earth and the light of the world
(Matthew 5:13-14). You must establish a continuous living
relationship with God the Father through obedience to His
Word and seek His will through regular prayer and studying
of the Bible.
SINAUGURU: “Eruguro lyamunamuzowoli.” Bibeli

BLUE: “The return of Jesus the Christ.” The Bible encourages
us to comfort one another with this very good news. The
Bible is very clear that Jesus will return to fetch the
believers. Jesus Himself will descend from heaven to fetch
those who died as children of God, as well as us alive who
believe in Him. We shall meet with Him in the clouds to be
with Him forever (1 Thessalonians 4: 13–18). All unbelievers
who are alive as well as those who died without Jesus will
have no part in this miraculous event.

Jesus is the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
For whoever calls on the Name of the Lord, shall be saved
(Romans 10:13). Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus said: I
am the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through Me (John 14:6). Jesus is also the only
Mediator between God and men (1Timothy 2:5).

Salvation only takes effect when a person is spiritually
reborn. Jesus answered and said to him, Most assuredly, I

Kingdom of God (John 3:3). For by grace you are saved
through faith and not of yourselves. It is a gift of God
(Ephesians 2:8).

Salvation Prayer: “Lord Jesus, I now call upon Your Name. I
confess I am sinful and will perish without You. I also confess
You are the Son of the Almighty living God. I believe You
died on the cross for all my sins. By Your blood I am cleansed
completely of all my sin and by Your stripes I am healed. I
believe You raised from the dead through the power of the
Holy Spirit. I repent of my sinful behaviour and I turn to You.
Please forgive me. In faith I now receive You as my only
personal Saviour.” Amen.

Right now you are a reborn Christian and may call the
Almighty God, “Abba Father.” You now are a new creation in
Jesus, the old things have passed away and all things have
become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). You now have the Son of
God and therefore have eternal live (1 John5:11-13). The
Holy Spirit will guide you in truth (John 16:13) and give you
wisdom to understand the Word of God and win the spiritual
battle against Satan and the evil forces of darkness. You are
more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ (Romans 8:37).
Now you must act according to the Word of God and also be
obedient to His command, which is to spread the gospel to
everybody (Matthew 28:19 and 20).

If you do not have a Bible, get one as soon as possible. Read
and study the Bible regularly and carefully. Obey God’s Word
at all times. Join a church where Jesus Christ is proclaimed
to be the only way of salvation and the only mediator
between man and God.
