Emma‟s grandparents are living in America so Emma can‟t meet them very often.
„Shall we visit Grandpa William and Grandma Susan next November, Mum?‟, asked Emma.
„We haven‟t seen them for two years‟. „Of course! We will go to Grandma Susan‟s 80th
birthday party on the 28th of November‟, said Mum.
Emma‟s grandma is an artist. Her paintings have appeared in many movies, newspapers and
magazines. Emma is really interested in collecting Grandma Susan‟s pictures from
magazines. She has cut all of those pictures and kept them in her notebook since she was
ten. She decided to give that notebook as a present to Grandma Susan this time.
Emma‟s family arrived in America on a foggy morning, but they were excited. They took a
taxi to Emma‟s grandparents‟ house. When they got there, Aunt Helen‟s children were
helping her prepare dinner. Emma helped them make pizzas. They chatted happily while
they were cooking.
