“We gather here to remember someone that made a special place in our hearts.
To recall those happy times when we laughed
And those times when our hearts broke as one.
We are here to stand beside you in silence and not be uncomfortable with your
tears.
To allow you the gift of mourning this loss and not lose patience
For grief is nature’s way of healing a broken heart.”
Opening:
Good afternoon everyone, we are here to remember and celebrate the life of our dear
MA’AM JOSEPHINE GABUCAY.
Before we start, let us all stand for an opening prayer to be led by CPANHS FACULTY
AND STAFF.
Please be seated.
“We honour a woman who touched many lives.
Though, we will stop to hear her stories, her laughter and her cry,
she will always be remembered for life.”
At this moment, let us hear the biography and reflections on the teacher’s legacy of the
late Mrs. Josephine Gabucay to be given to us by MISS VILMA G. GELILANG, Master
Teacher I.
“The journey of grief is long and those who walk it should not have
to walk it alone.
In times like these nothing takes the place of friends, relatives,
students and colleagues.”
To give her eulogy and tribute as a friend, let us have MRS. CANDIDA G. GASIS,
Retired Teacher of CPANHS.
For another Eulogy and Tribute as a Relative. Let me call on, MRS. ROBEGEN O.
CARTAGENA, JHS Teacher II of CPANHS.
Now, to give his Eulogy and tribute as her former student, let us have MR. GERRY
GEQUILLO, Vice President of CPANHS Alumni Association.
Next to give his Eulogy and tribute as a colleague and Employee, May I call in MR.
EDUCARDO A. CASARIA, Former Principal of CPANHS.
Lastly, let us hear another Eulogy and tribute as a colleague to be given by MR. ARNEL
C. GERVERO, Master Teacher I of CPANHS.
Thank you for all your sweet and warm messages. Your presence helps the family
realize how valuable their loved one was to others and shows what an impact her living
and dying has made.
At this moment, let us hear a tribute song to be sang by the CPANHS FACULTY AND
STAFF dedicated for our very own Ma’am Josephine Gabucay.
Thank you so much. And now, to give a response from the family, let us have the
daughter of Ma’am Josephine, MA’AM MARIVEL G. MONTANEZ.
Closing: And that ends our NECROLOGICAL PROGRAM this afternoon.
To Ma’am Josephine,
May you go forward today with a small flickering of light in your soul. May the
memories of your loved one begin to bring comfort rather than pain. May the words, touch
and presence of others bring solace. And may you be blessed in your coming in and going out,
grateful for a life lived and a legacy left behind. Go in peace our Dear Ma’am Gabucay.
