Steve: Are you going away next weekend? Pete: No, i’m going to stay here.

Ann: Are you going to tidy your room this afternoon? John: I can’t. I’m playing tennis with Vick this
afternoon. I’m going to do it this evening.

Sarah: Will you be home late tonight? Daniel: Probably. I’m meeting Mr. Trenta t five o’clock.

Friend: There’s someone at the door. You: I’ll go and see who it is.

Dave: Othello is coming to Bath next month. Kate: Really? I’ll try and get a ticket. Dave: I’m
going to phone the ticket office tomorrow. It’ll be difficult to get ticket.

I’m going to change my car soon because it’s beginning to give me problems. I

Judy: What are you doing this Easter?

Beth: I’m not sure. I’m going to go away for a few days but i don’t know where yet. I’ve got a friend who
works in the travel agency’s in town and he’s going to bring me some brochures. I’m going to look on the
internet too to see if there are any good deals. What about you?

Judy: I’m going skiing in France. I booked the flight and the hotel two weeks ago.

Beth: Are you going with a tour operator?

Judy: Yes, i am.

Beth: Are you sure there will be snow?

Judy: I hoep so!

What time does the coach get to Heathrow?

It gets to Heathrow at ten thirty.

What time does our flight leave?

It leaves at one thirty p.m.

What time do we land in Madrid?

It land in Madrid at two forty-five p.m.

Sue: I’m going to London next Saturday to see a show in the West End.

Ann: Really? What show are you seeing?

Sue: Blue Boys. They say it’s very good.

Ann: How are you getting to London? By train?

Sue: Yes. I’m catching an early train. It gets into London at four. I want to do a bit of shopping before the
show.

Ann: What time does the show start?

Sue: It starts at eight so i’ve got plenty of time.

Ann: How are you getting home?

Sue: I’m coming back by train. The last train leaves at eleven at night

If i don’t see Steve tomorrow, i’ll send him an e-mail.

As long as you finish your homework, i’ll take you to see the new Walt Disney film.

Unless they get a pay rise they will go on strike.

You will still find Dr.Winters in his surgery if you go now.

Many travel agencies will give you a discount provided you book early.

Daniel’s tired. He’ll fall asleep as soon as his head touches the pillow.

After i finish doing this, i’ll make a cup of tea.

When i get an answer from them, I’ll phone you.

Before you go, i’ll give you my mobile phone number.

Paul will be tired when he gets home tonight.

After we get narrued, we’ll live in a big house in the country.

If we have a garden, we’ll be able to have a dog.

Provided that Chris gets a good job, i won’t need to work.

While Chris is at work, i won’t be bored.

If i get bored, i’ll join a sports club

A: Thank goodness the courses are almost finished and we will be on holiday soon.

B: What are you going to do this summer?

A: I’m going to go to Greece. What about you?

B: I will travel round Europe for two months. We are leaving on July 2nd.

A: Who will you go with?

B: With Richard and Mark. We are going to buy an Inter-Rail ticket and see as much of Europe as possible.

A: Where are you going to stay?

B: Mark has got friends in Amsterdam. I think we stay with them when we will be in Holland but i don’t
know after that.

A: Fantastic. You will have a great time.

A: Hae a nice time in Portugal! B: Thanks! I’ll send you a postcard.

I’m too tird to do my homework now. I’ll do it tomorrow.

A: When do you plan to leave for Rome? B: I’m going to leave on Friday if i can find a seat on the
plane

A: What’s the time? B: Ten o’clock. A: I’ll phone Anne and Nigel tomorrow. It’s too late now.

We’re going to Spain for two weeks in July. I booked it yesterday.

John: I’m worried about the test tomorrow. Friend: Don’t worry. It won’t be difficult. 2

Helen: How about getting Anne and Philip some nice glasses?
Sue: No, Anne said her mother may/might give the some.
Helen: Well, what about a painting?
Sue: It isn’t easy to choose a painting for someone else. They may not like it.
Helen: How about a tablecloth?
Sue: We may not get the right size.
Helen: Why don’t we give them an antique?
Sue: Philip might not appreciate antiques. I think he likes modern things.
Helen: What about microwave. They’re very useful,
Sue: They’re expensive. Cathy may not want to spend a lot.
Helen: Why don’t we ask her? She might say that it’s ok.

Daniel: Why don’t you want me to go on this trip?
Mum: Well, i am worried. It’s all so disorganised. You say you’re going to stay in youth hostels but they
might/may be full. You may not find anywhere to sleep.
Daniel: Don’t worry. We can stay in a hotel if the youth hostel is full.
Mum: You may not have enough money for a hotel. Hotels are Expensive.
Daniel: I’m sure we’ll find somewhere cheap to stay.
Mum: Someone might to steal all your money, you know.
Daniel: Oh, mum. Don’t be ridiculous.
Mum: And you may not get on with the others. You may be ill. You might get an upset tummy with all that
foreign food.
Daniel: I’ll be careful about what i eat. I’ll go to a chemist’s if i feel ill.
Mum: The people there may not speak English. They may not understand you.
Daniel: Mum! Most people speak English nowdays. They study it at school.
