GLAB 200.6.1 - Statistical Processing
1 - Statistical Processing
Version 1.0, June 2023
Introduction
In this lab, you will enroll in the Statistical Processing (eLearning with labs) Splunk course
and use the Splunk lab to practice.
The Splunk labs simulate an (imaginary) international video game company called Buttercup
Games. The lab environment has several indexes and plenty of real-world data to play with.
Note: You are only required to complete Lab Exercise 1 – Transforming Data on the Splunk
lab. Still, we strongly recommend that you complete all the exercises.
Additionally, this lab may contain some commands that we did not cover in class. If you feel
that you can not follow these instructions, Splunk provides a solutions document with the lab
instructions. Use the solutions document to complete the lab.
