Abstract
Industrial training is important to developed the traits of industry
culture among the students before they enter into the world of
industry. A well plan, properly executed and evaluated industrial
training helps a lot in developing a professional attitude. The rational
of these industrial training is to understand the actual designing and
working of biomass power plant. Technical knowledge through a
proper training environment, which will help us as a student in the
field of electrical engineering to developed a responsiveness of the
self disciplinary nature of problems solving in electrical engineering.

Works Office :-
1. INTRODUCTION OF ALTERNAOR
Fig 1. Alternator
2. INTRODUCTION OF EXCITER
It is a small DC generator coupled with shaft of alternator
Excitation current – 11 A (DC)
Excitation voltage – 141 V (DC)
Output power DC – 1.5 KW
Output voltage DC – 179 V
Output current DC – 644 A
Class of insulation – F
Cooling system – IC 01
Enclosure system – IP23
Make – TDPS pvt.
System – Brushless excitation system
7. INTRODUCTION OF GOVERNER
The turbine governor is a system that regulates the inlet of water into
a turbine, which in turn rotates the generator to produce electricity. In
order to maintain a required generated frequency of 50Hz the speed of
rotation must be kept constant.

SYNCHRONISING PANEL
Synchronization is the
process of matching
parameters such as voltage,
frequency, phase angle,
phase sequence, and
waveform of alternator
(generator) or other source
with a healthy or running
power system. The panel
used for synchronization
process is called
synchronising panel.

A. POWER TRANSFORMER
It is a step up transformer. Which step up the generating 11 KV
voltage to 132KV which is feed to M.S.C.B. Bramhapuri.
Rating of power transformer – 12.5 KVA
H.V. side current - 54.6 A
H.V. side voltage -132 KV
L.V. side current - 556 A
L.V. side voltage -11 KV
Vector group - YnD11
Make - VOLT AMP
B. AUXILIARY TRANSFORMER
It is a step down transformer. It gives supply to industry. It
provides the power to the auxiliary equipments in aa energy power
plant.
Specification of transformer :
C. LIGHTNING ARRESTER
D. ISOLATOR
It separates the circuit part in which the error takes place from
the power supply. The main function of the isolator is, it blocks
the dc signals & allows the ac signals to flow.
E. CIRCUIT BREAKER
In AA Energy power plant SF6 types circuit breaker is used. It is
a switching device which can be operated manually and
automatically for controlling and protecting an electrical power
system.
F. CURRENT TRANSFORMER
G.POTENTIAL TRANSFORMER
H.WAVE TRAP
It is a maintenance-free parallel
resonant circuit, mounted inline
on high-voltage (HV) AC
transmission power lines to
prevent the transmission of high
frequency (40 kHz to 1000 kHz)
carrier signals of power line
communication to unwanted
destinations.
ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPETATOT :
An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a filterless
device that removes fine particles, like dust and
smoke, from a flowing gas using the force of an
induced electrostatic charge.
