CLASS POLICIES

A. Attendance
Students are not allowed to have 20% or more unexcused absences of the total class hours; otherwise, they will be graded as “DROPPED”.

B. Classroom Decorum

Students are required to:


1. wear identification cards at all times;
2. wearing of face mask is voluntary;
3. observe physical/social distancing at all times;
4. clean the classroom before and after classes;
5. avoid unnecessary noise that might disturb other classes;
6. practice good manners and right conduct at all times;
7. practice gender sensitivity and awareness inside the classroom; and
8. come to class on time.

CCJ Policy Resolution No. 1 series of 2019


1. Wearing of slippers, flip-flops, sandals and open shoes are not allowed.
2. Wearing of skin tight leggings, tokong, shorts, muscle shirts, sleeveless t-shirts/blouses is strictly prohibited.
3. Long and/or colored polished fingernails are not allowed.
4. Tattoos and body piercings are strictly prohibited.
5. Wearing of ID lace, t-shirts/polo-shirts, jackets bearing the name of other schools/offices is not all allowed.
6. For both male and female CCJ students, colored/dyed hair is not allowed.
For male CCJ students, the following is required:
a. 3x4 crew cut
b. Clean shaven. No side burns, mustaches, goatee, beard.
c. Hair should not touch the collar of the uniform.
d. Wearing of earrings for male CCJ students is strictly prohibited.
For female CCJ students, the following is required:
a. Hair should be tied at the back with black bands and held in place by a hair net.
b. Face should be free from falling/dangling hair.
c. Female CCJ students are allowed to wear stud earring only and heavy make-up is discouraged.

C. Examination/ Evaluation
1. Quizzes may be announced or unannounced.
2. Mid-term and Final Examinations are scheduled.

3. Cheating is strictly prohibited. A student who is caught cheating will be given a score of ”0” for the first offense. For the second offense, the student
will be automatically given a failing grade in the subject.
4. Students who will miss a mid-term or final examination, a laboratory exercise or a class project may be excused and allowed to take a special
exam, conduct a laboratory exercise or pass a class project for any of the following reasons:
a. participation in a University/College-approved field trip or activity;
b. due to illness or death in the family; and
c. due to force majeure or natural calamities.
