REASEARCH QUESTION
EXPERIMENTAL GROUP
TABLE 1. Evaluating the experimented dishwashing liquid in terms of its texture.
A. TEXTURE MEAN INTERPRETATION
1. smooth 3.15 Agree
2. easily spreads 3.2 Agree
3. thick or thin in 3.1 Agree
consistency?
TOTAL 3.15

Table 1 focuses the product's texture by rating three essential attributes: "deep

and rich," "evenly distributed," and "retained vibrancy after washing." The responses

from each respondent are then combined to find the mean score, which is an average

of the respondents' responses. A column which has a labeled "interpretation" is also

included in the table; this one probably represents an evaluation of whether the mean

score points to a good or bad characteristic. The vibrancy evaluation produced a

favorable results. The product appears to have a high degree of vibrancy, with smooth

and thick texture, even distribution, and good consistency result after washing, as

shown by the three attributes' mean score of three and the interpretation of "Agree."

Furthermore, evidence about the foam stability assessment that the product

was deficient that can have related the methodology outlined by Hembra et al. (2020).
Soap solution (10mL) was prepared and vigorously shaken for one (1) minute in order

to have a smooth enough foam or bubble to easily spread.

TABLE 2. Evaluating the experimented dishwashing liquid in terms of its quality.

B. QUALITY MEAN INTERPRETATION

1. effective 3.05 Agree
2. create enough foam 3.3 Agree
3. satisfied with the overall 3.15 Agree
performance
TOTAL 3.16

The information in Table 2 supports Table 1 findings, which indicate that

respondents are largely happy with the quality of the good or service under review.

They all agree that it works well, produces enough foam, and their general satisfaction

with its function. It's only indicate that a great deal of the respondents is generally

agreed with the evaluation made about the product's quality. Additional analysis, such

as examining individual responses or comparing the outcomes with those of other

goods or services, could offer a more thorough comprehension of the quality

observation as a whole.

As reflected by Table 1 and Table 2 of (Smith, 2023) study (p. 35), the

respondents evinced a highly satisfactory penchant as regards the quality and

performance of the product. Table 2 Evidence based on data from the positive ratings

shown in table 1 for the quality of the product. The vast majority of participants are

pleased about the functional qualities of the product itself, such as its functionality,

foam yield, and usability. These results seem to collectively point to very high

customer satisfaction with the quality of the product.

TABLE 3. Evaluating the experimented dishwashing liquid in terms of its

effectiveness.

C. EFFECTIVENESS MEAN INTERPRETATION

1. remove grease and stains 3.25 Strongly Agree
2. create foam 3.4 Agree
3. easily wash 3.05 Agree
TOTAL 3.23

The following table shows the performance of the gumamela dishwashing

liquid. Users are highly agreeable of the removal of tough grease as given, as an

average score of 3.25 for grease removal is generated. In addition, a rating of 3.4 for

foam generation means the item is highly liked for the generation of ample foam that

tends to improve the washing process. While the ease of washing score stands at 3.05,

this score is still far from excellent as it is a little low. However, the product is, in

every respect reliable when it comes to washing dishes since on average, a score of

3.23 attests that most people generally agree on it being efficient.

According to the study of Cipriano (2016), it states that Gumamela flowers,

contains this certain mucilage that levels up the effectiveness of it to remove stains

and grease present in common kitchen tools. Another study from Macapia M. J. et al.

found out that Gumamela has the factors to make bubbles by sqeezing or crushing the

flower or the leaf.

TABLE 4. Evaluating the experimented dishwashing liquid in terms of its texture.

A. TEXTURE MEAN INTERPRETATION

1. smooth 3.2 Agree
2. easily spreads 3.2 Agree
3. thick or thin in 3 Agree
consistency?
TOTAL 3.13 Agree

The results reveal that the participants generally agree on the texture qualities

of the dishwashing paste. With a total mean score of 3.13, respondents find it to be

smooth and easily spreadable, while also leaning towards it being either thick or thin

in consistency. Overall, the feedback suggests satisfaction with the product's texture.

According to some smart dishwashing paste users that I have interviewed,

regarding the texture of the commercial dishwashing paste, its smoothness, spread

ability in use, and thick and thin consistency of the product are all moderate, which is

aligned with the result of the evaluation.

TABLE 5. Evaluating the experimented dishwashing liquid in terms of its quality.

B. QUALITY MEAN INTERPRETATION

1. effective 3.2 Agree
2. create enough foam 3.25 Agree
3. satisfied with the overall 3.2 Agree
performance
TOTAL 3.21 Agree

Each criterion has a mean score of 3. The interpretation for each of these

scores is "Agree." This suggests that, on average, respondents agree that the product is
effective, creates enough foam, and they are satisfied with its overall performance.

The total mean score is also 3, with an overall interpretation of "Agree," indicating a

general consensus of agreement on the quality of the product across all evaluated

criteria.

The plant's natural components can contribute to sterilization and emulsifying

effects, enhancing the cleaning capabilities of the dishwashing liquid (Gorra, 2017).

The extract possesses natural antibacterial qualities, which help eliminate harmful

bacteria on dishes. This is crucial for maintaining kitchen hygiene, ensuring that your

dishware is not only clean but also safe for food use. The product does not harm the

skin that allows comfortable dishwashing without irritations.

TABLE 6. Evaluating the experimented dishwashing liquid in terms of its

effectiveness.

C. EFFECTIVENESS MEAN INTERPRETATION

1. remove grease and stains 3.1 Agree
2. create foam 3.3 Agree
3. easily wash 3.15 Agree
TOTAL 3.18

Each criterion has a mean score of 3, which is interpreted as "Agree." This

indicates that, on average, respondents believe the product performs well in several

key areas. Specifically, they agree that the product effectively removes grease and

stains, creates a sufficient amount of foam, and is easy to wash off. The consistency of

the mean scores across all criteria suggests a strong overall performance. The total

mean score of 3, with an interpretation of "Agree," reinforces the general consensus

that the product meets user expectations in terms of its performance across all

evaluated aspects.
According to Gouzhu (2018), Gumamela possesses natural cleaning properties

that can aid in effectively removing grease and dirt. Its natural composition allows it

to break down grime without the need for synthetic additives, making it safe for use

on a variety of surfaces, including kitchen counters, dishes, and even fabrics.

TABLE 7. Determining the P-value of the given set data in terms of texture,

quality, and effectiveness.

GROU MEAN DF P-VALUE INTERPRETATION

P
A. Texture EG 3.15 3 0.83 Not Significant
CG 3.13
B. Quality EG 3.16 2 0.57 Not Significant
CG 3.2
C. Effectiveness EG 3.2 3 0.7 Not significant
CG 3.18

In this table, it offers a comparative analysis of both the Experimental Group

and the Commercial Group across three variables namely, texture, quality, and

effectiveness. It shows the mean scores, degrees of freedom, p-values and the

interpretation of significance for every variable. For the texture, the mean scores were

nearly the same; the p-value was 0.83 and well above the common cut-off for

statistical significance at 0.05, suggesting no significant difference between those two

groups. For quality, mean values produced a p-value of 0.57 while for effectiveness,

the p-value was 0.7. This experiment should carry the same interpretation since there's

no difference among groups in the control and this experiment. It could be concluded

from these findings that the effect of the intervention or variable measured in these

groups is not significant on texture, quality, or performance.

Thus, many studies have emphasized that in an experimental setting, effects

are to be declared only if a p-value below 0.05 is obtained. Fisher's principles of

statistical significance generally state that if the p-value exceeds 0.05, then it may be

just chances that are being observed, and not because of any actual treatment effect.

This boils down to the findings in this study wherein all the variables have p-values

far above 0.05, which fortifies the interpretation that there is no such difference

between the groups (McDonald, 2014).
