The most recent structure in Letran Calamba, St.

Joseph's Hall was constructed eight years ago

with the intention of serving as a function space for
gatherings, meetings, and celebrations as well as a
laboratory for students pursuing a bachelor's
degree in hotel and restaurant management.
ST. JOSEPH’S HALL
St. Joseph's halls are comprised of various rooms,
including:
• Two Function Rooms (St. Mary and St Martha)
• Front Desk
• Bar
• Hot and Cold Kitchens
Joseph is the Patron Saint of the dying because, assuming he died before
Jesus' public life, he died with Jesus and Mary close to him, the way we all
would like to leave this earth.

Joseph is also Patron Saint of the Universal Church, families, fathers,

expectant mothers (pregnant women), travelers, immigrants, house sellers
and buyers, craftsmen, engineers, and working people in general.

We celebrate two feast days for Joseph: March 19 for Joseph the Husband
of Mary and May 1 for Joseph the Worker. March 19 has been the most
commonly celebrated feast day for Joseph, and it wasn't until 1955 that
Pope Pius XII established the Feast of "St. Joseph the Worker" to be
celebrated on May 1. This is also May Day (International Workers' Day) and
believed to reflect Joseph's status as the patron of workers.

The St. Albert the Great Chapel is the very own chapel
of our institution, the main reason this was built is to
have a venue for Mass and other religious activities.
Inside there are 2 Dominican Saint statues present.
First one near the entrance is Justo Takayama a
Japanese Dominican Saint and Saint Albert the very
Saint the Chapel is named after. Daily Mass is done
here during 7:30am.
Justus Ukon Takayama, a Catholic layman and pillar of the
early Church of Japan, was born in Osaka village and died in
Manila. He was exiled to Manila for refusing to renounce his
faith. The Archdiocese of Manila petitioned the Vatican for his
beatification in 1630, which was resurrected in 1963.

The reason why the chapel has a statue of Justo Takayama is

because it shows the partnership of Letran Calamba and the
Japanese Embassy during December 2, 2023 which is recent.
Albert the Great, a 13th-century German Dominican, significantly
influenced the Church's approach to Aristotelian philosophy brought to
Europe by the spread of Islam. He is known as the master of Thomas
Aquinas, who developed a synthesis of Greek wisdom and Christian
theology. Albert was educated in liberal arts and entered the Dominican
novitiate despite family opposition. His boundless interests led him to write
a compendium of all knowledge, including natural science, logic, rhetoric,
mathematics, astronomy, ethics, economics, politics, and metaphysics. He
served as an educator, Dominican provincial, and bishop of Regensburg,
defending mendicant orders and preaching the Crusade in Germany and
Bohemia. Albert, a Doctor of the Church, is the patron of scientists and
philosophers.

The Senior High School department
commemorated Buwan ng Wika 2024 on August
29, 2024, with the theme "Filipino, Wikang

variety of national costumes for the event. During
intermissions, participants also sang songs to
display their abilities. Students took part in a
variety of contests, including Slogan Making and

There are lots of events done in the Chapel through
the years, but here we can share the ones we found
that we think some of you knew already. The
“Opening of Jubilee Year of Mercy and celebration
of the Octocenary of the Order of Preachers” done
during 2016. Also “Thanksgiving Mass” during
Foundation Day. Sacrament of the “First Holy
Communion”. Lastly is the “Solemn Eucharistic
