A RESOLUTION APROVING THE MONETIZATION OF LEAVE CREDITS FOR THE FIVE
(5) BARANGAY OFFICIALS, SIX (6) OUTGOING BARANGAY KAGAWADS INCLUDING
OUTGOING BARANGAY SECRETARY AND BARANGAY TREASURER AS WELL AS THE
SIX (6) NEWLY ELECTED BARANGAY KAGAWADS INCLUDING THE NEWLY
APPOINTED BARANGAY SECRETARY AND BARANGAY TREASURER; HEREBY
GRANTING LEGISLATIVE AUTHORITY TO THE TREASURER FOR THE RELEASE
THEREOF.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Local Government Code of 1991, the Barangay Council
including the Barangay Secretary and Barangay Treasurer is entitled to monetize the unused
leave credits of the Barangay Officials;
WHEREAS, upon conferring with each other, the council has opted to their leave credits
with the strict compliance to the government’s auditing rules;
WHEREAS, the Barangay Chairman gains the total amount of Forty Eight Thousand Five
Hundred Thirty Nine and 78/100 pesos (Php 48,539.78). The four (4) Barangay Kagawads,
equally receives the total amount of Thirty Three Thousand Two Hundred Forty Pesos and
49/100 (Php 33,240.49); while the six (6) outgoing Barangay Kagawads including the
outgoing Barangay Secretary and Barangay Treasurer equally receives the total amount of
Thirty Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Pesos and 45/100 (Php 30,470.45). The newly
elected Barangay Kagawads as well as newly appointed Barangay Secretary and Barangay
Treasurer equally receive the amount of Two Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Pesos and
04/100 (Php 2,770.04) for their respective monetization of leave credits;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Ruby E. Yu, duly seconded by the body, be it;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that this august body hereby expresses for the Approval of the
monetization of leave credits and with the expressed legislative authority to the Barangay
Treasurer for the release thereof; chargeable against the Personal Services (PS) of the
Annual Budget (AB) Calendar Year(CY) 2024 of Barangay Leon Garcia Sr., Agdao District,
Davao City;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished to the Commission on
Audit (COA), Office of the City Mayor, DILG, City Accounting Office and City Budget Office of
Davao City for their information;
