SITE VISIT

MORTAR COMPOSITION:
• Cement: sand= 1:6 and 1:4
• Course sand mortar for wall
• construction
• Fine mortar for plaster

AC WIRING:
Copper wire- gas inlet &
outlet
black wire- insulation
FRAMEWORK:
• Made of plywood and steel
• Provide temporary support to
structure during pouring and
curring of concrete

LINTEL PLACEMENT:
• The lintel should be fully bedded on bricklaying
mortar
• level both along its length
and across its width
• here the lintel component
is precast
• minimum recommended
lintel depth 140mm
SHUTTERING:
• shuttering tie rods holds the
shuttering metal metals
• after the concrete poring
operations it is then removed
• instead of metal wood, plywood,
steel, plastic can be used

PLUMBING:
Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride pipes (CPVC) is
used for plumbing in washrooms
BRICKWORK:
After laying the horizontal
sections (treads) on top of the
risers, mortar is applied between
each tread and riser, then a level to
ensure each tread is even, and
steel reinforcements are installed
within the mortar between bricks
for additional strength.

PLUMB BOB:
A device for straight
vertical or horizontal
placement of bricks
