 Infographics and Text Comprehension: Infographics have been proven to significantly improve reading comprehension among
students, particularly those with weaker proficiency in the English language. A study involving Malaysian primary school students
found a marked improvement in comprehension after the use of infographics (Manickam & Aziz, 2020).

 Videos for Reading Comprehension: Videos used as supplementary tools for reading instruction have also been effective. In one
study, students exposed to videos before reading passages demonstrated higher reading comprehension and fluency compared to those
taught through conventional methods (Al Mahmud, 2022).

 Dual-Channel Multimedia Learning: The combination of visual and audio stimuli, such as slideshows with voice-overs and
animated videos, improves comprehension more effectively than text alone. This dual-channel approach taps into both visual and
auditory cognitive pathways, leading to better knowledge retention (Kraft et al., 2017).

 Multimedia in Vocabulary Learning: Visual aids like flashcards and infographics in vocabulary instruction show a significant
positive effect on retention and comprehension in language learning environments. Studies demonstrate improved vocabulary
acquisition when visual aids are integrated, particularly for learners with lower proficiency levels (Chung, 2023).
