have been working for previous assignments
2. Open Floor Plan: L2 > navigate to the Living
Space of any apartment unit > will be
creating open Kitchen in the living room as
shown in image 1
3. Firstly, create Kitchen Slab > create a new

floor type of ‘FL_KIT001_100ʼ > update its

4. Create Slab Profile of 3230 600; refer
image 3 at a Height offset from level: 935 >
create an opening in the Slab for Sink; refer

5. Download NVT_Base Cabinet-Single
Door & Drawer, NVT_KitchenStove_3D,
NVT_Sink_Kitchen_1, Image 6
NVT_SP_Refrigerator, NVT_Upper
Cabinet-Double Door-Wall Revit family files
from the LMS resource folder
6. Load the downloaded families in your
User Spine Revit Model
7. Place the Sink (above the opening in the
slab) & Stove on the slab and Refrigerator
as shown in image 5
8. Place the Base Casework below the slab;

9. Place the Upper Casework at an offset of 1500; refer image 7

Create Home Workspace
10. Download NVT_Office_Chair, NVT_office_workstation_1,
NVT_office_workstation_2 revit family files from the LMS resource
folder
11. Create a Home Workspace by placing Workstation and Chair in the
room according to your design choice; refer image 8
12. Update the Family Parameter to adjust the family into the space

Create Wall Partition Frame using AGACAD
1. Make sure you have installed AGACAD for this Assignment
2. Open L2 Floor Plan > Create a new Architectural Wall Type of 75mm; refer image 9 >
Model Wall at the specified location as shown in image 10
3. Go to T4R Wood Framing tab > click on Wall > click on Settings > click on Load
Families; refer image 11 > tick on Main Families > click Ok; refer image 12
4. Families will be loading > this may take time, be patient

Create Wall Partition Frame using AGACAD
5. Go to T4R Wood Framing tab > click on Frame Wall drop down > click on Framing Configuration; refer image 13
> update the settings as shown in image 14 > click on Save
6. Go to T4R Wood Framing tab > click on Frame Wall > select the Partition Wall modelled > Report dialog box will
open > select the wall type > click on Ok > Select dialog box opens, from the drop down select Frame > click on
Ok > Partition Wall Frame will be created

Create Floor Frame using AGACAD
1. Open L2 FLoor Plan > navigate to the Bedroom >
Duplicate the existing Floor Type; create floor type as
shown in image 15
2. Floors will overlap > update the height from offset
125mm > update the offset of the model elements
according to the floor level; refer image 16

3. Load Floor Families as you did for Wall Families
4. Update the Floor Frame Configuration then Apply the
Floor Frame

Create Electrical Layout : Pre Requisites
1. Go to “Level 2 RCP Layout.ˮ
2. Open the Living Room area
3. Download all the resources related to Electrical Layout
4. Follow the lighting fixture plan in next slide. From the downloaded
resources, place all electrical component as per the provided
information in next slide.
5. Enable the “System Browserˮ from View tab > User Interface >
System Browser to view all the electrical component from the
schedule. Refer image 0

Submit on the LMS
1. Take a Screenshots or Snips of the Kitchen Unit & Home Workspace PARTA, Wall Framing Partition
PARTB, Floor Framing Partition PARTC) and Floor Assembly PARTD
2. Screenshot of the Electrical Plan (BONUS)
3. Create a folder and place all the screenshots in the folder along with your Revit File
4. Compress/Zip the folder
5. Submit the folder on the LMS
