Introduction.
The legal system is essential for controlling corporate operations and guaranteeing justice and fairness in
the marketplace. Businesses looking to grow globally must comprehend the legal frameworks of the
many markets in today's worldwide economy. This study looks at the legal systems of Vietnam and the
United Kingdom, two very different legal settings. It focuses on the sources of law, the responsibilities
that the government and parliament play in creating laws, and how the law is applied in courts.

This report's objective is to present a thorough examination of various legal frameworks and assess
current changes and advancements in Vietnamese law, emphasizing the ways in which they may affect
commercial activities. The investigation will look at how well these legal systems work to settle conflicts
and promote economic growth, as well as where they might be improved. In the end, this paper seeks to
provide useful guidance on how companies can negotiate these nations' legal systems to maintain
compliance and reduce risks when conducting business internationally.

P1. Explain different sources of law.
1.Defination of law
Law is a profession or discipline that is related with practices, set of rules, and customs which are known
as binding by the community. Such rules and practices are enforced by a controlling authority such as
governmental or social institutions. In other words, Law is said to be a mechanism for regulating human
behavior and actions. Societal viewpoints reflect on rationality, justice, morality, order, and honesty.
Judges, then again, define “law”; as an act, policy, statute, guidelines, and rule. From the judicial point of
view, law extends to court rules, judgments, decrees, court orders, and injunctions.

2.How law is applied in life

Law is needed in every aspect of our lives, even for things we assume we don’t need it for. Medicine,
biotechnology, finance, arts, the humanities and particularly the entertainment industry, every
transaction in these fields require regulations.
Many situations we read on blogs and news sites could have been avoided with a single consult from a
lawyer. From artistes claiming to have been ‘ripped’ from their adequate royalties because of no binding
contract, to skitmakers facing persecution for sexually harassing kids because they didn't think it was an
offence; ignorance of the law is no excuse and here are reasons why you need a lawyer in your team
today;

-Liability prevention: as a creator, anything could be content and the need for engagement could easily
blur the lines. A lawyer in your corner serves as an agent of checks to let you know if you are going
beyond the confines of the law in any of your actions. They would effectively examine the extent of your
rights and help you avoid very preventable situations

-Contract undertaking and valuation: this applies particularly to artistes and influencers who engage in
music and ambassadorship deals. A seasoned lawyer helps review the basis of any agreement/contract,
the quantum of benefits accruing, grounds for dissolution and the impact on your brand down the line.

-Trademark and copyright protection: your intellectual property is arguably your greatest asset. Your
expended efforts and time deserve incentives and safety from other people who want to ride on the
benefits of it. This is where your lawyer comes in handy! With ever raging reports of infringement,
people being cheated from adequate royalties, it is pertinent you have a legal advisor who makes sure
the necessary agreements are signed and luckily help you avoid ‘the instagram court’ or any court at all.

-Firewall from online attacks: being in the public eye leaves you vulnerable to quite a number of
rumours and defamatory attacks. Hence, a lawyer in your team serves as a shield before and even when
such happens, by instituting cease and desist orders to any persons hiding behind their keyboards, to
ruin your long built reputation.

-Dispute resolution and management: scandals are quite crippling for either side of the divide. It is
important that you have a legal counsel who helps manage any such disputes and disagreements that
may arise in your dealings. They help prevent these issues from the public eye as they may be damaging
to your reputation, and decide the way forward by gauging what comes to light.
Beyond their regal wigs and gowns and articulate statements in court, it is evident that lawyers play
pivotal roles in every field and in every organization. These roles, though undermined, are indispensable.
Failure to recognize these very important roles has led to quite a number of avoidable incidents,
arguments and mishaps and even career deaths, which would have been properly regulated and
resolved by legal advisors.

3. Defination of Regulation in life

From time to time I see life rules by smart and successful known people. You can be inspired by their
rules, but it is very clear that words can inspire, but only an action makes a real change in your life.

I found very useful to manage my own life rules and regularly review and reconsider them, reconsider
the meaning of each rule for me, reconsider where I am in following these rules. It does not only my way
to understand who I am, it is also helps me back to myself, examine my actions and environment.

Life rules defines why you are doing things, what you are doing and how. Actually they define who you
are, but only if they are your personal rules, extracted from your own mind, soul and body. It is a long
way and hard work. Honestly, I’m not satisfy my expectation of me following my rules, so it is also my
way of continuous self-improvement. I’m doing it for 30 years and still see a long way ahead.

Why I’m sharing my rules with you? You can probably find an answer in my rules. We all are
connected. You make me better.

4. How Regulation of life are applied in life
Rules of life, often understood as social norms or guidelines, are informal standards that govern behavior
in society. These rules stem from cultural values, traditions, and moral beliefs, and they play a significant
role in shaping individual behavior and interactions within a community. Here’s how they are applied in
life:

1. Cultural and Moral Expectations:

The moral and cultural standards of a civilization are reflected in its rules of life. Universal moral
rules include things like being honest, treating others with kindness, and respecting elders.
Through education and upbringing, these unwritten norms are ingrained in people and govern
their daily interactions.

2. Social Cohesion and Order:

People help to preserve social order by abiding by these principles. Social norms contribute to the
stability and harmony of interpersonal interactions in societies. Common actions that promote
respect and avert confrontations include saying "thank you," standing in line, and offering an
apology when necessary.

3. Community Influence:
Social pressure is a common method used by the community to impose life rules. If someone
breaks these guidelines, they could be subject to unofficial consequences including criticism,
social exclusion, or disapproval. People are encouraged to follow socially accepted activities by
this collective influence.

4. Adaptation to Specific Contexts:

The rules of life might change based on the situation or the group. While caregiving and
emotional support are often the focal points of family life, professional standards at work
demand the same level of punctuality and professionalism. Individuals modify their actions based
on what is expected of them in their surroundings.
5. Moral and Ethical Framework:
Certain life principles—such as lending a helping hand to those in need, showing humility, or
forgiving others—have their roots in one's own moral or religious convictions. These provide
people a sense of direction and accountability by directing their own decisions and behaviors.

6. Mutual Understanding and Cooperation:

By educating people about expectations for both themselves and others, life norms foster
collaboration. Common courtesy, such as holding the door for others and lending a hand when
necessary, for instance, promote mutual respect and trust in communities.

5.The different between them

P2 Explain the role of government in lawmaking

and how statutory and common law are applied in
the justice courts.
While understanding the sources of law is an important foundation for understanding a legal system, the
role of government in the lawmaking process and the application of statutory and customary law in the
courts play a decisive role in the implementation and maintenance of legal order.

1.2. The role of Government

The government participates in executing the executive function, exerting regulatory authority, and
offering political direction.

The government's budget bill and accompanying measures offer important guidance on economic policy.
In terms of enacting laws, the Government may use its legislative authority in the two situations listed
below, which are both outlined in and solely governed by the Constitution:

When the Government is expressly requested to do so by Parliament; in emergency situations, when

prompt action is necessary.

The government may make regulations as part of its regular authority to:
Execute and carry out legislative mandates; oversee the structure of governmental administrations; and
manage affairs that, in accordance with the Constitution, are exempt from legal regulation.
The Government appoints high-ranking individuals to central government and public entities in addition
to its regulatory authorities.
