Writing task 1: Mindset 11

The line graph illustrates information in terms of the results of a survey where were
questioned the main reasons why people moved to the capital city in a certain country.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that adventure, study, and family/friends
reasons experienced an upward trend except for employment, which saw a slight decrease
after it had peaked in 2010. In addition, adventure was the least popular reason for changing
their residential area.
Looking at the details, as regards for both family/friends and adventure, the figure had
the same value slightly above 10000 people in 2000, which can be considered as the lowest
point presented in the graph. At this point, family/friends experienced rise almost for another
10000 people in the year of 2010, by following a slight decrease to 22000 in the next five
years. If we look at the adventure, the figure will be similar. Having rose steadily to 15000
people from 2000 to 2015, it still remained at the bottom of the graph, meaning that many
people chose/preferred other reasons for moving.
By contrast, the number of people who chose the reasons such as study and
employment were considerably higher grom the other two reasons. The trend for current
reasons saw almost the same changes as a rapid increase between 2000 and 2010, differing
from one another for 45000 people. However, the number of people who moved to the capital
city because of study surprisingly increased rapidly from 2010 to 2015, while employment
experienced a slight decrease, which led them meet at the same point as the study at 88000
in 2015.

Writing task 1: Diyorbek’s English

The line graph illustrates information in terms of the production of three main forest
industry products such as timber, pulp, and paper, in a European country.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that Paper and Pulp had generally increased
in production over the course of 20 years, while Timber production saw a significant decrease
after 1990. In addition, the trend for Paper had peaked in 2000.
Looking at the details, as regards Paper production the figure started at the 4 million
tons in 1980, then after almost 12 years of stable increase, saw a raise for almost two times
to 8 million tons. Having rose to 9 million tons in 1995, the numbers had a sharp decrease. In
the end it reached its peak at 12 million tones after 5 years, as the most popular item sold in
2000.
By contrast, both Pulp and Timber started at the higher production rate than Paper,
around 5-6 million tones. However, Pulp production dramatically fell reaching almost 2 million
tons, which is the lowest point in the graph. By 1985, Timber and Pulp had shot up to 10
million tons and 7 million tons, respectively. After overlapping at 8 million tons in 1990,
Timber production saw a fluctuation, while Pulp production grew remarkably to almost 10
million tons.
