My full name is Pham Hoang Tuan. And Tuan, T-U-A-N is my first name.

But you can call me Jame. i was born in 2003, by that i mean i am 21
years old. i come from Ba Ria - Vung Tau. my family consists of 5
members: my parents, my two siblings and i. My father is a fishcatcher.
My mother is a housewife. And my two siblings, one older brother is a
software engineer, other sister is a . Currently, i am studying at UTH,
University of Transport. My major is information technology. my
hobbies are playing basketball and listening to music.

some people like playing game, some pick up listening to music, others
choose watching movie. For me, I’m extremely fond of playing
basketball for 3 following reasons.
First, it helps me relax my body and clear my mind after a long day
studying at school
Sencond, many friendship that i had have so far is built through those
basketball matches we have together.
Last but not least, it's proven by scientists that playing baseketball can
help you increase in height and strengthen your bone.
In short, those are the reasons why I enjoy playing basketball.
As I’ve mentioned above, my hometown is Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
There are 3 things I’d like to tell you about that. To start with, my
hometown is very famous for many beautiful landscapes. For instance,
if you like ocean so Back beach will be your favorite location because of
its blue clean water and white sand. Or you prefer historical artifacts
than Con Dao island with many items and stories left by wars in the
past may get your attention. What I aim to say next, the specialty here
is pho. It’s made of rice and meat. It's served with many ingredients
such as vegetable and chili sauce. Last but not least, the local people
are hospitable. They usually intend to invite you to their house for
cookies and tea. I’m very proud of my country in general, and my
hometown in particular
As I've mentioned above, my family consists of 5 members. The person
who effects me the most is my father. His name is Hien. He is 53 years
old. His job is a fishcatcher. About his appearance,His body has dark skin
and a height of 1.6m. Despite of his age, he is still very attractive with
an oval face, big eyes and a straight nose. In terms of personalities, he
is very generous and sociable . He always helps people around and
participate in many voluntary events near our house. I’m very proud of
my farther and I love him so much.
As I've mentioned above, my major is information technology. I decided
to choose this major for 3 following reasons.
First of all, i really love my major beacause it is every useful and
necessary in these modern day. More and more people can easily
access internet for many purposes like entertainment, storage and
studying so that it demands many software engineers to design
application and websites to fulfill.
Secondly, my parents have always hoped that i could become a
software engineer. As they have poor knowledge about computers and
smartphones and expect someone can help them understand clearly.
Finally, i would like to help a lot of people with their softwares and
application problems. it's not only helping me earn a lot of money but
also increasing my knowledge about information technology.
In short, those are the reasons why i choose my major and i think i’m
perfectly right with this decision.
Some people like playing game, some pick up listening to music, others
choose watching movie. For me, I’m extremely fond of reding books.
When I was young, my father usually read stories before bedtime.
Because of that, i find books really interesting.
Everyday, I spend around an hour reading books. I usally read books at
the library near my house because of its convenience(cần vi li an) and
diversity. As a big reader, I have read many types of books but comic
books are my page(bây j) turner. They are easy going and contain a
variety(vờ rấy ơ đi) of categories(ca đờ war ri) which can satisfy any
ages(ây z ). Some come highly recommended(red cờ men địt) by many
famous organizations(o gờ nờ jay sần) such as The Amazing Spider-
Man, Batman Who Laughs, Invincible Iron Man. Whenever I by new
comic books I’m usualy engrossed(in rosse) in them Until I read them
from cover to cover. The comics is not only teaching readers about
valuable life lessons(les son) but also encouraging(in cơ rịt trinh ) their
imaginations(in ma chờ lây sần) and knowledge. to sum up, reading has
brought(rót t) me many relaxing time and benefits. I will continue this
hobby and share it with the others.
I have been traveling to many places since I was a kid. At that time, I
usually went with my family to beaches inside the province.
As a student nowadays, I'm usually on tight budget and time so my trips
are usually happened inside VietNam and on holiday of a lifetime.
One of my favorite trips is visiting the Vung Tau beach. To avoid hordes
of tourists, I chose to go off the beaten(bi đần) track.
The location is in a stunning(ˈstəniNG) landscape and near a beach with
breathtaking view.
There was a small village where sold many seafoods and souvenirs such
as baked(bết t ) crabs, grilled snails, seashells and so on.
Unlucky for me, It was out of season, therefore, I could not attend the
famous celebration which was the High Moon Day.
However, there was many other beach activities that keep me
entertaining like surfing(sớ), rowing(râu), fishing and so on.
Those trips is not only bring me joys and good memories but also
improving my knowledge and social skills which is formed(fôm) when I
interact with many different culturals(cấu chồ) and people.
To sum up, I love traveling and will continue this hobby in the future.
Some people like playing video games, some pick up listening to music,
others choose watching movies. For me, I'm extremely fond of
traveling.

As a student of an university, I have been studied through many classes

such as Math, Physics(phi dich) and so on but my most favorite one is
English.
i like the subject so much that i never play truant(tru an) when there is
an English class.
Despite of my interest(in choệt) for the subject, I usually fall behind
with my English study.
It requires you to learn by heart and you have to deal with many new
vocabularies and grammars so I usually become a bookworm(quầm) to
improve my knowledge of English in my free time.
There is another thing that I like about studying English in my university
is my teacher. Before joining my teacher's class, I wasn't the
sharpest(shop bịt) tool in the shed(set) and used to goof around. Until I
met my English teacher, she is an eager beaver(I gờ bi vờ) who is not
only providing adequate(á đơ quịt) lectures but also giving many
interviews with foreigners(fo nờ). Therefore, I start hitting the books
and can easily pass with flying colors.
There are many difficulties for my learning process(ro sẹt), but English
can also bring me many benefits once I master it.
Many document and information are written(rít đần) or translated into
English beacuse knowing English can help me reach those valuable(var
you ơ bồ) knowledge(no lịch) .
It's considerable(ken si đơ rơ bồ) that more than 60% of global(k lô bồ)
population use English as their native(lai div) language so that i can
easily(i giờ ly) make friends around the world by only learning one
language.
Those are the reasons why I study English and I will attend many more
English courses(code ) in the future.

Some people like playing videos games, some pick up listening to music,
others choose watching movies. For me, I’m extremely fond of
shopping.
I'm not a shopaholic (shop bờ ho lịch ) however going shopping once a
week is still my normal routine.
As a student, I’m usually on a tight budget so genuine(chen new ần )
and authentic(ò then tịc ) goods are what I'm looking for when at shops
rather then fashion conscious(con sợt ).
Throughout my shopping experience, I have come up a few rules which
help me get quality products(ro đập ) and prevent me from shopping
until I drop.
For the daily items like fruits and vegetables, I prefer markets therefore
I can snap up a bargain.
Last months of the year are the best period for buying the ones that
cost much money because stores usually trying to sell out all remaining
goods by slashing prices as discount.
Above are a few things about my shopping hobby, I hope I can go
shopping more often when I am financial(chồ) autonomy(ò tó lờ mi
There are many famous celebrations in VietNam such as Mid-Autumn(a
ầm) Festival, Teachers Day, Vietnamese Women's Day and so on but
the one I like the most is Tet holiday. Tet is not only the time of year for
Vietnameses to celebrate for the passing of old year and welcome the
next coming year but also the the period for reunion of family
members. It usually has the date in January(chen lơ le ri) or
February(phép bu le ri) and lasts for a week. For a successful Tet
celebration, my family always arranges(ờ ren chịch) everything in
advance like food, money and gifts. it consists of many customary
activities such as paying tribute to decreased elders, visiting far
relations, giving each others wishes() about career(cờ ria ờ) and family
and offer money for the young as blesses(b lét sịt) is the most special
and memorable ritual in this days. as a tradition, we usually push the
boat out at my grandmother's house where our relations are in high
spirits because we can talk and drink together. The purpose of those
works is in the hope of getting rid of bad lucks of the past and wishing
for the brighter(r) future ahead. Tet also has another(ân na đờ)
meaning(mi ning) that is the time for family and friends to celebrate
together once a year. To sum up, Tet will be always the most important
holiday of Vietnameses and be looked forward by my family.
There are many traditional dishes in VietNam such as bread, noodle,
cake and so on but the one I like the most is pho. Pho is made by
combining(cầm bai link) rice as noodles and soup produced by cooking
bones and water together. It sounds like pho can be made simply by
following a recipe(rét sơ bi), however, there are many more than just
different types of ingredients such as cooking time, cooking
temperature, etc(ẹt se đơ ra). and therefore home-cooked food is
always my first choice. When you are eating pho, it's usually served
with vegetable and hot sauce(sọc)for increasing favour(face vờ) of the
meal. When I was a kid, I was usually dying of hunger after school, my
mother always prepared a slap up meal . I ate like a horse so I could
finish two or three pho bowls. Whenever I go back town(thau), I always
visit my neighbor food store for a pho bowl because local peopel have
good hand on preparing it. My mother always cooks some processed
food such as rice, noodles or pho so that we don't have to prepare a
meal on the city. Pho can be found any where in Vietnam from the
north to the south. There are various pho categories(ca đờ gô ri ) like
chicken, fish and so on therefore anyone can find their favourite dish.
As I’m not a fussy eater, I prefer taste(tết) as many types of pho as I
can. I eat them like a horse(hôrs). In conclusion(ken lu sần), I love
Vietnamese food for its flavorful( lây vờ ful) ingredients in general and
pho in particular.
