Before Start Installation

Make sure all things of this direction is checked correctly:

1. Is detector’s battery is charged?

-If not, charge battery.

-After charging, replace detector’s battery to charged one. Follow the photo direction.

*For more information about battery charging and changing, read detector manual.
2. Is Wi-Fi router (AP) connected correctly?

-Connect AP and PC with internet line like this picture.

*It is OK to connect to another LAN port (ex: LAN2), but do NOT connect to WAN port.

3. Fix IP address following the direction.

1) Open <Network and Sharing Center> and click <Local Area Connection>.

2) Click <Properties>.
3) Double-click <Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)>.

4) Set IP address and Subnet Mask.

192.168.250.100

255.255.255.0

IP address: 192.168.250.150

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

After finish setting, click <OK>-<OK>-<Close> to save it.


4. Is detector is installed in right position?

-Check the position, status of detector.

*After setting detector in Bucky Table.


I. Install Software

1. Insert Econsole1 installation CD.

2. Open CD Drive folder and execute installer as administrator. Click installer with right-button and select
<Run as administrator>.

3. Setup progress will start when execute installer. Select language and number of installed detector.
4. Select <Hardware license protection(Dongle Key)>.

5. Select detector’s model and input its serial number.

6. Input Hospital and department information.


7. Read End User License Agreement and click <Next>.

8. Select installation and image save folder. We recommend NOT to change folder’s path and just click
<Next>.

9. Select Start menu folder where program’s shortcut would be created. If checkbox <Don’t create a Start
Menu Folder> wasn’t selected, installation will skip this progress
10. Select which additional icons would be created.

11. Now installation is ready to install programs in PC. Check install information and click <Install>. If there
are difference with setting

12. Install is now progressing. Wait until finish installation.


13. Installation is finished. To complete installation, it is recommended to restart PC. If needed to restart PC,
select <Yes, restart the computer now> and click <Finish>. The PC would be restart soon.

*IMPORTANT: All progress must be saved before restart PC.

14. Eject Program install CD and insert CD which is written detector’s serial number.

15. Open CD Drive folder and browse to MAP folder.


16. Copy all files in MAP folder to C:\Econsole1\Map Folder.

* If software installation folder’s path is changed, these files’ destination is (folder where Econsole1 is
installed)\Econsole1\Map.

17. Installation is all finished. Eject CD which is inserted.


II. Execute Ecali1 and Set Detector

1. Execute Ecali1 ( ).

2. When application executed for the first time, it starts program’s initial setting. Check that Detector A is
set detector’s model name. Normally, detector which registered during installation is already set.

3. Click DetectorA-Setup.
4. Internet browser (ex. Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc.) will open with router setting page. Log in.

Login ID: admin

Password: admin

5. Enter Setup.

6. Enter Basic Setup-Wireless Setup. Turn 2.4GHz network off and check Wi-Fi authorization is No Encryption.

Click <Apply> when finish setting.


7. Enter Advanced Setup-Network-LAN/DHCP Server. Check LAN IP’s IP address. It must be same with Ecali1
program’s Router IP setting.

8. If all setting is done, Press Save ( ) button. Ecali1 Application will restart automatically.

9. Power on the detector.

When powered on, PWR lamp lights with BLUE color.

Soon, it starts finding AP itself. Then, AP lamp will blink twice with GREEN color, READY lamp blink with
ORANGE color.
10. After program restart, detector will automatically connected to PC via Wi-Fi Router. It takes about 30
seconds.

To check if detector and PC is connected correctly, execute CMD and enter “ping 192.168.250.135”.

When successfully connected, CMD respond like this photo.

If not, read Troubleshooting paragraphs (p.30) in this manual.

11. Now we have to check advance setting. Enter Option-Engineer Mode.


12. Password is required every time to enter Engineer Mode. Enter Password and press <OK>.

Password: drt1234

13. Enter Option-Configuration. Then, select <DetectorA>-<Detector Advanced setting…>.

14. Enter Wireless and check the wireless setting:


-Detector’s IP address must be 192.168.250.135.

-Router’s SSID and SSID on detector’s setting must be same.

*To check router’s SSID, open internet browser and enter 192.168.250.98 in address bar.

Next, login is required. Read II.4 paragraph (p.14) in this manual How to login. After login, Enter Basic Setup-
Wireless Setup and check router’s SSID.

-Router’s IP and router IP in setting must be same.

Must be same

*Read II.7 paragraph (p.15) in this manual How to find router’s IP address.

When all setting is done, Press Save ( ) button. Ecali1 Application will restart automatically.
15. Detector’s LINK lamp lights with GREEN color if connected to PC successfully. Also, detector changes its
mode to Sleep Mode. AP lamp will blink twice and READY lamp still blink regularly with ORANGE color.

To Change Ready Mode, Press ▷ icon. In Acq. Mode.

16. Soon, detector will be changed to Ready mode. When it changed, bottom-right side of Ecali1 program
shows stats like this screenshot.

Also, READY lamp’s color change GREEN and no more flick until it return to Sleep Mode.

Now setting detector is done. If additional calibration is needed, read Ecali1 manual and Appendix 1
paragraphs (p.27) in this manual.

After setting, changing into User mode is recommended. Select Option-User Mode and enter Engineer
mode Password. Soon, program mode will change into User Mode.

This two photos shows the difference to User mode (Left) and Engineer mode (right).
III. Execute Econsole1 and Acquire X-ray Image

Before start:

Hardware Dongle Key is required to run Econsole1 program. Be careful NOT to forget.

1. Set Dongle Key into USB port.

2. Run Econsole1 ( ).

3. Login progress is required to use Econsole1 program.


Log in with followed ID and Password:

ID: Admin

Password: admin

4. When login succeed, main screen will be shown.

Check if detector is connected well. This icons can found this icons below the screen.

5. Enter Configuration-Detector-Panel A. Check all information about detector is correct.


6. Before taking X-ray image, program requires patient’s information registration.

Press icon to register new information.

7. Add and edit information properly and press <Edit> button.

8. Now editing body part popup is shown. Follow directions to add information:
1) Choose a body part which is object for filming.

2) After selecting body part, specific information will be shown on this window. Select proper one and
press <Add> to add it.

3) This window display added information about filming part. Use button to switch its order,

button to delete it.


4) Setting is finished. Press <OK> button to set these information.

9. Press <OK> to register patient information.

*IMPORTANT: If III.8 (p.22) direction does NOT progressed, an error popup will be shown and NOT able to
continue progress. Make sure that all information program needs are added.

10. Now patient’s informaion is registered. Press patient to take a X-ray photo.

11. Program will display photographing mode immediately. When detector’s status becomes

from stats, operate board to expose X-ray.


*When detector detect photographing X-ray image, the icon which places bottom of screen ( ) will

change ( ).

12. X-ray image is shown soon. Repeat photograph if needed. Click icon when finished.

13. Program displays lists about photographed patients and photographing information about selected
patients. Select patient’s photographing information to study about image.
14. Image display mode open soon.

Operator can modify image with using toolbar’s various tools. For more information about toolbars and
tools, read Econsole1 manual.

*Remember that when icon is shown, getting new image is NOT possible.

*For more information about program, read Econsole1 manual.


Appendix 1. Detector Calibration

Detector is already calibrated before setting it up. But if you need calibration, follow this direction. Reading
Ecali1 manual also helpful to calibrate it.

Before start:

-Make sure that detector is connected to PC via Wi-Fi.

1. Select Calibration-G icon to start calibration.

If status bar shows like photo, return to II paragraphs (p.13) in this manual.

2. A popup notice start. Press <OK>.

3. New popup appeared. Press <OK>. There is NO signal that alarms start expose X-ray. Expose X-ray via
operation board as popup is closed.
-If program notice exposure dose is low, raise mAs and kV values via operation board. When value noticed
high, on the other hand, lower their value. Repeat this procedure until exposure dose meets detector’s
criteria.

-Check that bucky operation button in operation board is switched on.

5. When exposure dose meets detector’s criteria, this popup will be shown. Click <OK>.

6. From this popup is shown, operator needs to take 7 images to continue calibration. Press <OK>. There
is NO signal that alarms to start taking image. Operator may start photographing as popup is closed. Use
operation board to take image.

7. Program directs to wait a minute between each chance to photograph. Popup will tell you how much
time left to wait.
When waiting time is over, popup will be closed automatically. There is NO signal that alarms to start taking
another image. Operator may start photographing as popup is closed. Use operation board to take image.

Repeat this procedure until program display this popup. When this popup is shown, press <OK>.

Now, calibration is over. For more information, read Ecali1 manual.


Troubleshooting

Q1. Detector dose not connected to PC.

A1. Check detector is really connected to PC.

Open CMD and enter “ping 192.168.250.135”.

When successfully connected, CMD respond like this photo.

When CMD respond like this photo, there is a trouble to connect Wi-Fi by the side of detector. Check that
Wi-Fi router’s password is set. If yes, remove router’s password. Read II.6 paragraph (p.14) in this manual.

Also, you need to check router’s setting one more time. Read II.14 paragraph (p.17-18) in this manual.
Q2. Econsole1 application does not start with this popup.

A2.

Plug the Dongle Key in the USB port.

Q3. There are lines in X-ray photo image.

A3. Make sure that bucky operation button in operation board is switched on.
