SYNOPSIS
Title: Fog Computing: Bridging the Gap Between Cloud and Edge

Fog computing is a rapidly emerging paradigm that extends cloud computing to

the edge of the network, closer to the data sources. As the Internet of Things
(IoT) continues to expand, with billions of devices generating vast amounts of
data, traditional cloud computing models face challenges such as latency,
bandwidth limitations, and privacy concerns. Fog computing addresses these
challenges by providing decentralized computing power, storage, and
networking services at the edge, closer to where data is generated.

This seminar will explore the fundamentals of fog computing, its architecture,
and its role in the broader context of the Internet of Things (IoT). Participants
will gain insights into how fog computing enhances real-time data processing,
reduces latency, and improves the efficiency of IoT applications.
