1. Objectives of Face to Face Implementation Gerry C. Faustino PM
Sir Gerry C.Faustino discussed the Objectives for face to
face Implementation:
Deliver quality basic education in a safe learning
environment to learning in low-risk areas.
Address the teahing and learning gaps encountered
in the distance learning modalities.
Strengthen the school-community health and safety
support for all children.
Sustain the positive result of the implementation of
limited face t0 face classes.
Allow resumption of activities that cannot be done at
home.
2. Expansion Strategy Gerry C. Faustino PM
He further explained the Strategy for conducting the Limited face to
face classes, these are the following:
Progressive Expansion – once the school meets the
standards of the school safety Assessment Tool (SSAT)
This includes:
Geographic Expansion
Expansion in terms of Grade Levels
President has authorized DepEd and DOH to decide
on the scale and mechanics of the expansion, in
consultation with the DILG. The DepEd will submit
regular reports on the conduct of F2F Classes to the
President.
Schedule of the Expansion Phase
Progressive espnasion to commence not earlier that
February 2022, unless the DOH ADVICE DepEd to
futher defer the start of expnasion based on
developments sorrounding the Omicron Variant
Surge.
3. Safe Operations Gerry C. Faustino PM
He presented the Key Eements and its standards safe
operations on the conduct of the limited face to face classes.
Participating Schools Public and Private should be located in Level 1
and 2.

School Personnel
Teachers who will involved in the implementation of limited
face to face classe must be vaccinated.
Unvaccinated teachers may perform other duties in the
school premises than actual teaching, provided they submit
negative antigen or RT PCR result.
Class Size
Max of 12 learners for Kinder
Max of 16 for Grade 1 to 12
Max of 12 learners at a time for those activites requiring the
use of WS and laboratories.
Teaching and Learning Approach
Blended Learning Approach will be applied on alternating
Schedules
Learning Resurces
Textbooks and SLMs, whichever are availabe, will be utilized
for face to face classes.
Self-Learning Modules for Distance Learning
Supplementary Learning Resources.
School Activities
Group Work which involves close contact shall not be
allowed
Staggered break time
Large gathering and activitites are prohibited.
Personnel Protetive Equipment
Appropriate face mask
Face shield and barriersare not required
Classroom Layout Structure
Physically redesign classroom to ensure distancing
Suitable alternative learning space other than classrooms
within school grounds or in students’ immediate community
may be identified.
School Traffic Management
Establish safe entrance, exit, drop-off and pick-up points, and
contact tracing procedured for all those entering the school
premises.

Protective Measures, hygiene and Sanitation and Gerry C. Faustino PM
Respiratory Etiquette School Principal
Setting up of proper sanitation and hygiene facilitite (hand
washing)
Availability of face masks to learners, teachers and school
personnel
Availability of emergency health kids
Provision of health monitoring tool
Designate school health safety officers to take charge of
health and safety protocols.
