INSPECTION ACTIVITIES AND WORKSHOP DESIGN
This was a training of two weeks in MECON Ltd, RANCHI carried out under the supervision of DGM , EWU and INSPECTION unit. This included total inspection of product, selective inprocess inspection, expediting and post ordering follow up, approval of Quality Assurance Plans furnished by vendors and designing of workshop units of production plants. It also included an industrial visit to HEAVY ENGINEERING CORPORATION Ltd. , RANCHI in SFW(structural fabrication workshop) and Gear Cutting section. INTERRNSHIP Summer internship at EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY’s carriage repair shop under the supervision of Chief Workshop Manager,Harnaut where I worked in sheet metal shop, bogie repair shop, wheel axle shop and administrative block (IT section) of the workshop using the latest technology for coach maintenance work (double-stacked coach maintenance technology to carry out periodical overhauling of coaches).
ACADEMIC Was awarded by chief minister BIHAR for standing fourth in BRAIN OF BIHAR ’07.(an interschool competition organized throughout Bihar by students of various IIT’s) Stood 2nd in NILE ACROSS event of UTHAAN ’12(college tech fest event organized by MECHANITRIKA group ) . Training and placement co-ordinator of mechanical and production branch of the college. Won several debate, elocution and extempore at interschool level.
SPORTS Has dexterity in playing cricket and has been the captain of school cricket team.
